Dr. Yelena Kholodenko received her B.S. degree in Biological Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and graduated Cum Laude in May 2002. She studied dentistry at the University of Maryland, receiving her D.D.S. degree and graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2006. She then completed a three year Endodontic Post Graduate program in June 2009 at the University of Maryland, while also receiving her M.S. degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Kholodenko believes that root canal treatment should be a positive experience with an emphasis on minimizing patient discomfort. Many years of her education were spent on conducting research that compared different root canal treatment techniques in order to minimize pain. Using her education and experience, she has successfully completed thousands of root canal treatments.
Dr. Jared Seltzer studied dentistry at the Stony Brook University in New York and graduated in May 2008. He went on to do a general practice residency for a year at Stony Brook Hospital. He then completed a three year Post Graduate program in Endodontics on June 2012 at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Brynne Reece received her B.A. degree from Hendrix College in May 2006. She studied dentistry at the University of Maryland and graduated in 2010. She received a Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry in 2012, and then she completed a three year Endodontic Post Graduate program in June 2015 at the University of Maryland. As a testament to Dr. Reeces outstanding clinical skills, she was a recipient of Sherill Ann Siegel, Harry W.F Dressel, and multiple American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Dentsply awards.
Dr. Reece currently lives in Baltimore with her husband. Outside of work, Dr. Reece is an accomplished pianist. She has performed in numerous musical competitions and was a first place winner on multiple occasions. Her most notable performances were held at Carnegie Hall (New York, NY) and Gnesina Institute (Moscow, Russia). She has received an Advanced Certificate in Piano Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London, UK.

I woke up one morning with my face so swollen I was literally unrecognizable and was in sheer panic. Dr. Seltzer's office took me right in and fixed the problem AND eased my extreme anxiety quickly, even though I was a new patient. I've had several procedures done by him now and he'll be the ONLY endodontist I will ever see. Hopefully I won't have to, but if I do, it will definitely be him. He's a remarkable endodontist and saved a tooth that another had said needed to be extracted. I owe him my smile.

Dr Seltzer is absolutely the best. Have had 2 root canals done and he made sure that I was completely pain free during the procedures. He has a fantast ic personality and sense of humor on top of being an outstanding Dr in his field. Thank you Dr Seltzer for your service and am quite sure I'll be seeing you again.

Dr. Seltzer is fantastic. He fixed my tooth pain and I am forever grateful. I can drink cold drinks again! He is very easy to talk to, and my root canal was so well done that I actually fell asleep in the chair. Hard to believe, but it's true! So thank you thank you thank you Dr. Seltzer!!!

Last week I experienced one of the most uncomfortable pains ever and needed an emergency root canal. Made the phone call around 1pm on a Friday and was able to be seen by 1:45. Dr. Yelena took time to observe, check, ask questions, and repeat each before determining where the pain was coming from and performing the procedure. OUTSTANDING care and attention and within a day I was back to normal. I CANNOT thank her and the office staff enough for great service from start to finish!!

Saw both doctors but Dr. Seltzer did my recent root canal. He was very pleasant, gentle and thorough. The ladies at the front desk are very pleasant and the doctor's assistants are very kind and caring. I would definitly recommend this office..
