As soon as you sit in the dentist's chair, you will be offered a comfort menu consisting of features designed to help you relax, like a pillow, a blanket, and even headphones. If you or your child suffers from dental anxiety or has special healthcare needs, we can calm the nerves using laughing gas.
Dr. Dylan McKnightgrew up in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Radford University, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Our friendly office manager, Tasha, has been working in the dental field for almost two decades. She spent her first 10 years working as an expanded duty dental assistant before moving into operations. She is a native Coloradan who loves camping and spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and four daughters!
Originally hailing from Sidney, NE, our lead dental assistant Copper moved to Colorado several years ago to pursue a career in the dental field. Copper is currently working toward an expanded duty dental assistant certification with additional plans to study dental hygiene. Copper loves cats, boating, and water sports.
Ryan has been working as a dental assistant for two years. He had completed three years of dental school in Viet Nam but wasn't able to finish degrees before moving to the United States. He is currently completing his undergrad degree and is applying to dental school at the end of this year. His passions are basketball, learning about cars, and traveling the world.
Payton is our newest employee. She has been in the dental field for a little over a year now. She got into the field because her mom and aunt are both dental assistants which helped inspire her. Hobbies - hanging out with friends and driving her first self purchased car.
We use digital x-rays as a diagnostic tool. You may receive digital x-rays as part of your regular examinations, emergency examinations, or as part of the preparation for a procedure. Not only are they more accurate than traditional x-rays, but they also emit less radiation, too!
Intraoral cameras are used to reveal areas of the teeth, gum, and other oral structures that digital x-rays can't show. They are a high-tech diagnostic tool that we use as part of our oral surgery planning, and more!
Dr. McKnight uses the cone beam CT to get an in-depth view of the teeth, gums, and oral structures, with stunning detailthat traditional digital x-rays cannot capture.
