Dr. Mike Choi was raised in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Sociology. After his undergraduate studies, he attended the USC School of Dentistry. He then completed an advanced specialty program to become a board eligible Prosthodontist.
Prosthodontics is a dental specialty that focuses on diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth. Prosthodontists undergo 3 years of additional training to restore oral function to an expert level using implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays and dentures.
Dr. Choi was an Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry before focusing on private practice. Dr. Choi is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society.
Prosthodontics is one of the nine recognized specialties of dentistry and it benefits you by concentrating on the whole mouth. Quinn, the staff and Dr. Choi are very professional and attentive. Quinn always does an amazing job with my cleaning. My teeth and gums feel amazing. I love smiling in the mirror looking at my beautiful teeth and gums! I will be back.

I look forward to office visits for the first time in my life. Always very welcoming and personable. There is never a wait , and seems like everything is running on time. Quynh is always so friendly and she really cares about you and your health. My teeth have never felt cleaner. We have seen improvements in my overall gum health since coming here. Dr Choi is always so friendly and gentle and makes sure you are comfortable during any procedures. Then the icing on the cake is Myrna who keeps everything running perfectly, she always is open to a conversation and makes sure you leave smiling.

Dr. Mike Choi, Westlake Village Dental Health, is amazing. My family has been seeing him for many years. He leans toward holistic dentistry, is conservative and honest about what needs to be done and when, has great hands, and a lovely staff. This is one of the MOST positive dental experiences I have had. Dr Choi is very professional, knowledgeable, and an artist. He is low-key.....complimenting my own nervous system...and yet his quiet understanding and empathy are palpable. The staff of Westlake Village Dental are incomparable. Each member of this "team" are helpful, friendly, and go the extra mile for YOU the patient. Dr. Choi restored my desire to smile! He created new crowns that provided me with not only a winning smile but the ability to laugh wholeheartedly, chew properly and speak distinctly.
