Dr. David Hakimi has been living in Southern California since his move from Toronto, Canada in 1988. He attended Birmingham High School in the San Fernando Valley upon his arrival, where he met his close friend and current business partner Dr. Armon Eben. After receiving his B.S. degree in Psychobiology from UCLA, he went on to study Dentistry at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where he received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry.
Since having graduated, Dr. Hakimi has augmented his education through hundreds of hours of continuing education courses in general, cosmetic and implant dentistry in order to provide his patients with the highest quality and most state-of-the-art treatment available.
Dr. Hakimi prides himself on his commitment to providing quality dentistry in a sensitive and gentle manner. Furthermore, he believes that by listening to his patients goals, he can provide each patient with a smile that is not only beautiful, but also representative of their desires and personality.
Originally from Israel, Dr. Eben came to the US during his high school years where he attended Birmingham High School in the San Fernando Valley. It is during this time in high school that he developed a passion for the dental field while working as a dental assistant. Dr. Eben received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from UCLA, and then continued at the UCLA School of Dentistry where he received his doctorate degree.
Having inherited Dr. Scott Rosens patients upon his retirement in 2004 along with his business partner, Dr. David Hakimi, Dr. Eben has continued the tradition of excellence in the practice that has been serving the people of Westlake Village and the surroundings since 1990. Dr. Eben provides his patients with the highest quality of dental treatment with a gentle, personal touch utilizing his extended training in multiple areas of dentistry, including esthetics, implants and Invisalign orthodontics.
Beth has dedicated her 25 year career to the dental field. Her extensive knowledge of dentistry can be relied upon to bring clarity to any questions or concerns ranging from treatment to finances. Her tremendous energy, passion, loyalty and professionalism can easily be seen in her day-today interactions with patients and co-workers alike. Beth is always ready to greet you with a smile and to make you feel at home.
Beth enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years and close friends. Her interests vary from watching drag races to wandering through museums. But she is happiest visiting the tropical paradise of Hawaii.
Yessenia was born and raised in sunny Southern California. She began working in the dental field in 2008 as part of the business team, where she found a passion in helping patients and in seeing their smiles transformed. In her free time she loves spending time with her Husband, friends and family. She also enjoys watching movies and exploring the great outdoors.
Keri recently moved to California from the rainy state of Washington and is loving all the sunshine Southern California has to offer. Keri has been in the dental field since 1998. What she loves most about her career is helping others feel comfortable and at ease in the dental environment.
Originating from Texas, Karla moved to the sunshine of Southern California two years ago. She is a graduate of the dental hygiene program at TCC, located in Hurst, Texas. The combination of her acquired experiences and education have made her well versed in all areas related to dentistry and soft-tissue management. Karlas motto, If you make a patient feel that you care for them as a whole as much as you do their mouth, then you have done your job well. Karla is happiest when she gets to spend time with her daughter, husband and two Jack Russels.
Jasmine has been in the dental field for over 10 years and with us at Wesltake Smile Design since moving to California in 2007. Jasmine completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from West Coast University in Anaheim, CA. She has had the privilege of living in several states due to her family being in the military, but has permanently settled since moving to California. She enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her family, including her pomeranian, Marlo.
Nada graduated from West Coast University in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene and later obtained her Masters in Public Health in 2019. She has been around dentistry her whole life due to her mom being a dentist. Her easy-going and friendly demeanor allows her to build rapport with patients quickly. Patients rave about her excellent chairside manner and gentle touch. Nada loves what she does and takes pride in improving her patients oral health.
Wendy has been a registered dental assistant at Westlake Smile Design since 2009, and in the dental field since 1998. She loves being in the dental field because of the feeling she gets when she helps improve a patients smile while making them feel comfortable. She also really enjoys the constant technological advances in dentistry, and how they help benefit patients.
Sandra grew up in Colombia and immigrated to the US with her family in the 1990s. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant for the past 19 years and loves her work and interacting with patients. In her spare time Sandra enjoys spending time with her kids, hiking, Zumba dancing and volunteering at her church. She always loves staying active and trying new foods.
Lisa grew up in the Pismo Beach, CA area and started her dental career at the age of 15 as a front and back office assistant. She later got her Registered Dental Assistant license and worked in many specialty dental practices, learning an extensive amount in various aspects of dental car. She particularly loves serving and helping people feel at ease during their dental experience.

Every time I come to Westlake smile design Its an easy and amazing process. I might be a little biased as I have always loved going to the dentist, however, from the front desk, to the hygienists everyone is so sweet and so helpful. Dr.Eben did a filling for me today and it was quick and painless. I highly recommend coming here for your dental services

Amazing experience with Dr. Eben and Wendy. The entire staff is great. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They make you feel like family. Loved that everything is thoroughly explained so you only do what you need. Pricing and procedures are discussed the visit before so you are fully aware of what will happen and exactly how much it will cost. No hidden costs. Highly recommend!

I came to a visit today, and Dr. Eben made me feel very comfortable with my treatment. After going through chemo, the pain trouma is not easy, and coming to the dentist is not fun, however I am glad I came and thanks to Dr. Eben and his staff I will be coming back.

I have been suffering from extreme pain for year on my TMJ, jaw. Dr. David Hakimi treated me with Botox injection. Within 3 days I had huge relief!!! Relaxed jaw. No pain. Unbelievable results. Absolutely highly recommend it. Dr. Hakimi took time to explain every step. He was very gentle. The office staff were very friendly and professional. Thank you.

Every time I come here the experience is great. Dr Eben, Wendy, and the rest of his team makes sure I am comfortable in the chair and that includes making sure I am not feeling any pain in my mouth (I also appreciate the blanket if I am too cold). Making appointments has always been fast and easy too and they always help figure out my insurance questions.

Great experience with Sandra and Dr Hakimi. If I could leave a 10 star review I would. I had a previous dentist drill too deep, and they fit me in for an emergency appointment and got me set up for a root canal and crown. They are genuine, and don't try to screw you over. It was as pleasant as a root canal can be, and they set me up for success for afterwards. I have never had a dentist pay so much attention to adjusting my bite. Dr H was so great and he noticed if I even flinched at pain- I'm not the person to say anything. A painless dental appointment is a wonder. Sandra, Dental Assistant, was fabulous. Everything about her bedside manner. This is my new dentist, and I can't say enough good things.

My experience with Dr. Eben, Wendy RDA, and the front dest team has been immaculate for the 8+ years that I have been visiting. My family and I have always gotten out needs met and all of our treatments have been excellent and lasting. I have started my Invisalign journey with Dr. Eben and with just 17 weeks I have major transportation, it's beautiful! Thank you so much to the Westlake Smile Design team!

Dr.Hakimi and Sandra are both amazing! I recently moved to the area and was nervous about finding a good dentist but was quickly settled when I came here. They have so much experience and are able to do pretty much everything you could ask for. Plus the ladies at the reception are always happy and smiling. Couldn't expect any better

Let me start by saying that I suffer from dentophobia ~ an intense fear of visiting the dentist for dental care. I go YEARS without seeing a dentist unless I have an intense toothache. Then I met Dr. Eben at Westlake Smile Design. He is so calming and gentle as well as reassuring. He's never rushed and takes his time explaining everything that he's doing. His very kind demeanor really helps to relax me. PLUS, he's very easy on the eyes, too! His assistant, Wendy, is an added bonus! She does and says everything that she can to relieve my stress and anxiety. Wendy is extremely knowledgeable, and very adept at her job. I really enjoy our conversations and laughs. I must also mention the ladies at the reception desk....they ALWAYS have smiles on their faces and treat you like you're family. Westlake Smile Design CARES. Plain and simple. I just can't say enough about them. They're A*MA*ZING!!
