Dr. L graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland Ohio, where he earned a Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) degree with Rank #1 in class in term of clinical experiences. After graduating, he attended a residency, Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Dayton Veteran Affairs Medical Center. His residency brought him with much experience in treating a high volume of difficult cases and helped him understand medically compromised patients.
Dr. L loves all aspects of dentistry, including restoration, crowns & bridges, implants, endodontics, and removable prosthesis, either partial or complete denture. Hes also a certified provider of Invisalign clear aligners.

I did a search for Invisalign and came across Westlake Dental Care for their competitive pricing. After my consultation with Doctor Tarek Badawy (Dr. T), I was sold. Seeing the office, the cleanliness, and the technology that his office uses, I decided to also switch my primary dental care to his office and left my previous dentist of over 15 years. From using a digital scan (iTero) instead of a manual gel base imprint of your teeth for Invisalign, to having "Alexa" for tasteful music during your appointment, to having an option to watch a show on the large TV screen right in front of you if you had a longer dental session/appointment. Dr. T is one cool guy. He can mean business if you don't follow his instructions, but chat with him and you will find out he's a pleasure to have as your Dentist. The Staff here are all awesome! Dental Assistant Vic and Cindy are awesome to work with and funny when you get to know them. Irene the Office Manager is a pleasure to work with. Funny with her own stories about her own Invisalign experience. And Zainab and Maria are awesome as well and will get you taken cared of for appointments. I had one rare occasion of having Zainab as sort of like a Dental Assistant and she was great! If you need a Dentist or would like to switch out your current Dentist, look no further. I highly recommend Westlake Dental Care.

Today I had my first appointment at WestLake Dental Care and it was an amazing experience! They are incredibly attentive and thorough in all aspects. The entire staff is wonderful! The front desk staff member was welcoming and kind, and the dental hygienist Dr. Lina was incredibly friendly, kind, professional, and thorough in explaining everything. I felt cared for during my appointment from start to end and I never felt rushed. I also love how the office is super clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing! I highly recommend this place and Dr. Lina specifically!!

I have been a patient at Westlake since their opening in sterling over 5 years ago. I used to have a fear of going to the dentist, but not anymore! I trust Dr. Tarek and his team. He is so gentle and patient. in addition, the front office staff is super friendly and outgoing. it is nice being on a first name basis with everyone there. I did my Invisalign with Westlake and am so happy with the results. they made an easy, affordable, zero interest payment plan for me which really helped me out.

Amazing. I had split tooth and an abscess and was able to get in right away. Doctor T removed the difficult wisdom tooth and recovery was what one would expect. Staff was knowledgable and super friendly. I scheduled for cleaning and scan and am now a happy client. Highly recommend.

Once upon a time I came to get an implant. 21 months later I am still waiting. Now he can't find the Invisilign, even though he is giving away a TV if you sign up for the program. something is missing......

EDIT: Dr. T reached out earlier than his expected response time to explain couple things from their end. Ultimately, he took care of the situation. I updated the stars to account for their action to resolve the issue. This place is full of tricks. I called this office to get an appointment with a Periodontist as this office showed up in my insurance site for Periodontics services. While the person could have said that there is no Periodontist in this office, they booked me an appointment with Dr. Lina who is not a Periodontist. When I arrived at my appointment, Dr. Lina examined my gum but also performed preventative care which I did not request nor approve. I also left the appointment getting a referral to a Periodontist which was very disappointing because this just wasted my time. A major disappointment is when I received a bill in my mail. They are requesting me to pay $187 for preventative services which made no sense. So I called the office and got connected with the billing person. This office performed preventative service on me after seeing one preventative service done for the year while I actually did two somewhere else. So my coverage turned out to go over the annual limit. The problem is that this was never the reason for my visit and I never requested this service nor approved. Most importantly, they reviewed my information inaccurately and I need to suddenly pay? If this is not a robbery, I don't know what is. This is just ethically wrong. I will give one star for friendly staffs but they don't get anything done. Billing lady understood my frustration and informed that she will check with the owner dentist to see if they can write off my charges. She told me a date she will get back to me, but guess what? She never got back to me. I gave plenty of time for responses past the deadline but I was losing patience. I followed up on the call and email. I finally received the response on email after a follow up call but the email was basically saying the same thing we talked about over the phone. This is getting really frustrating because noone is giving me updates and trying to resolve the issue. I'm convinced that this place tries to perform all the services they can claim to insurance and they got caught because they can't review information correctly.
