Dr. Tebyani was born in the capital city of Tehran. He has traveled the world extensively. At an early age, his family moved to live in Holland and England. He finished high school at Fulneck School in Leeds, England. Then they relocated to San Diego in 1980 and soon after he moved to Peru where he lived for 20 years. Dr. Tebyani obtained his degree in Dental Surgery from the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in 1992 and served as one of the clinical and laboratory associate professors for undergraduate students. Upon returning to the United States, he validated his studies with preparatory courses at University of California, Los Angeles and passed the California Dental Board in 2005.
With over twenty years of experience in providing dental care, Dr. Tebyani emphasizes the importance of a good diet, and teaches his patients the essential oral hygiene skills and habits to ensure good oral health which leads to an optimal improved overall health.
Dr. Tebyani, with a passion for pediatric dentistry, is highly skilled in treating children. He has extensive experience in making it a happy occasion for children to visit the dentist and teaches them to keep their teeth clean and healthy.
Its imperative to Dr. Tebyani that his patients are aware of the role that dentistry and oral health play in ones overall health. Along with a healthy diet, good oral health has been linked with mitigating the severity of heart conditions, diabetes, and Alzheimer, among other diseases.
Dr. Tebyanis hobbies are travelling, basketball, and participating in community building activities that contribute to the spiritualization of mankind. He hopes that one day world peace will be established and nations will not raise war on nations; that the world will come together as one happy, human family.

Procedures done: Root canal and Crown on right molar (tooth 2). Root canal and Crown on left molar (tooth 15). Appointment- to place crown on right molar and root canal on left molar. Dentist started with the root canal. Attempted to fit crown on right tooth and he couldn't get it to stay on, so he had it sent to be redone. Temporary crowns on both sides of my mouth for another 2-3 weeks. Next appointment-- Prepped the crown for the left tooth. Attempted to put in the right crown and again wasn't able to get it to stay on. Sent crown back to the lab to be redone again. Then didn't put temporaries on either teeth and told me to chew with my front teeth. I went back the next day requesting temporaries. The next time- put both crowns in, again having trouble getting the right tooth's crown on. Eventually got it to stay on, but said it may fall out. Crown fell out the next day. Then, within the week it fell out a second time. He didn't suggest any other course of action. I saw 2 other dentists that said the tooth was ground down very low and flat (close to the gum line) and due to this the crown could fall off at anytime and advised that another procedure needed to be done first. One dentist measured the crown and said it was less mm then is required for a crown to stay on.

By far the best dental experience ever! I was having a tooth ache and called asap. The staff was so kind and were able to accommodate an appointment 2 hours later and get the work done I needed . Explained everything And broke down costs for me . I would recommend to anyone !! Especially to anyone who doesn't like the dentists.

From the front office staff to the dental assistants to the doctor himself - Pure professionalism with laughter and and big smiles. The entire staff so kind and fun. And the front office gal is great on calling to remind you of appointments and catering to your needs as far as mornings or afternoon appointments. She even called the day of my appointment to remind me and asked if the appointment time was still OK and we actually bumped it up an hour. Very impressed with how everyone really made me feel like family. I highly recommend this dental firm to all that are looking for a kind, fun and very professional office staff as well as A #1 dental car. I just can't say enough. I moved from Camarillo to Thousand Oaks and was nervous about switching Dentists. I tell you what if I found this group while I was still in Camarillo I would have drove up the grade to see them. I went to this office due to the 5 star rating on Google, but was taken by surprise. I scheduled a checkup and cleaning appointment, was billed for the above services, but did not receive a cleaning. The checkup and cleaning portion of the appointment lasted about two minutes, where he checked my x-rays and touched a few of my teeth with a scaler. It was nice of him copying all of the x-rays into my thumb drive, however.

OMG!! Dr Tebyani is the best dentist I've ever experienced! Though I'm always a nervous wreck going to the dentist and tensed up, Dr Tebyani is quick witted and his sense of humor is contagious! He made me feel at ease and kept me preoccupied while he did his work. I can't tell you how I appreciated his character and wonderful personality! In addition, as a dentist, he's excellent! And honest too!! I truly am please to write this review and welcome to see him again should I need additional dental work; he's my first and only choice!! Thank you very much to Dr Tebyani and the entire staff. They're all wonderful, friendly, helpful, professional and very nice. I highly recommend this jewel of an office!

Westlake Dental Care is the best! They fit me in when a filling fell out (from a previous dentist). I had such a great experience that I will not go any where else. The front desk staff is thoughtful and patient. The office is clean and it is obvious they are following health code for Covid. The hygienists are thorough and observant. They anticipated all my needs to provide the most comfortable experience possible. Dr. Tebyani is everything you want from a dentist. He is patient, attentive to detail and hilarious. He tells jokes and antidotes to ease the process along. He has suggestions for care, but is never pushy about procedures. He is a perfectionist and when it comes to teeth, this is a huge asset.
