rom an early age Dr. Scott Lundy had a deep interest in pursuing a career in healthcare. With a keen eye for detail and passion for working with his hands, Dr. Lundy knew a career in general dentistry would allow him to combine his technical skills and help others achieve a better quality of life with gentle dentistry. Although he was born and raised in Toronto, he has enjoyed making a home in Thousand Oaks and cycling in his free time. At Westlake Dental Associates he enjoys working alongside Dr. Wuesthoff and the fantastic dental team. With special training and certification in sedation dentistry and Invisalign, Dr. Lundy looks forward to building many more positive memories in the community.

Dr. Lundy pursued his interests in science and biology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, where he graduated with distinction, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry in 2005. He also received Honours Standing and became a Deans List Honouree in 2002-2005. He was awarded Doctor of Dental Surgery on June 12, 2009 from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he also graduated with distinction and received an Honours Standing and Deans List Honouree in 2005-2009.

Dr. Lundy has been awarded the Dr. Sam Ioannidis Memorial for the top student in Restorative Dentistry. Following University, he began his dental career in the Thousand Islands district and worked in a family dental office in Kingston before moving to the warmer climate of Thousand Oaks. At Westlake Dental Associates, Dr. Lundy enjoys the patient-centered values that transform a general dental practice into a foundation of patient care and comfort.

Dr Parsaee attended USC, first for a degree in dental hygiene before returning for her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. She has had a passion for dentistry for all of her life, ever since a childhood scooter accident broke her front teeth.

She is a Los Angeles native, and has been working in Santa Monica before joining our team here in Westlake. Outside of the office Dr. Parsaee likes to spend her free time drawing and painting, spending time with family and taking beautiful hikes with her dog.

First of all, thank you so much for giving me the honor of being your dentist over the past 29 years! It has been a wonderful ride, and I am privileged to call you all friends. I am writing to deliver some bittersweet news; starting in August I began phasing out my involvement in the practice here in Westlake, wrapping up at the end of 2020. There are several reasons for this which I will outline below.

The first question I will get is Am I retiring? No, far from it! Beginning in March of 2019, I have had the opportunity to be on the staff of the Toiyabe Indian Health Project as a staff dentist. My clinic in Coleville, CA, sits on an Indian Reservation in the far northern part of California, off highway 395. I provide care to Native American people, non-Native patients with MediCal/DentiCal and to the military personnel and their families at the U.S. Marine Mountain Division headquarters. It is a different world. I am the only dentist of any kind for about 50 miles to the north and 80 miles to the south. People drive for hours for their dental care (and theres NO traffic!) and I consider it an honor and privilege to be in this position.

Initially my intention was to commute and do a week in Westlake and a week at Toiyabe. I have been doing this schedule since April of last year. Two big changes have drawn me to make Toiyabe my only practice location. First, my wife Cathy got hired at Mammoth Mountain as a host. She works during the winter as a ski host and during the summer to help with all their summer activities. This was another strong pull to the Eastern Sierra. The second big change was Cathy being hired by Toiyabe as the dental hygienist in Coleville this past March. As many of you know, Cathy has already retired from Westlake and focused her attention on Toiyabe and Mammoth. This was the clincher for me to consider a permanent change myself.

I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Lundy as a person and as a clinical dentist. His care is excellent, performed with a gentle and skilled hand. He is honest, genuine and completely trustworthy. Dr. Lundy has done treatment on me, so I can attest to his skills. You have all become friends to me over the past 29 years, and I have no reservations handing your care over to Dr. Lundy.

I will be in the office through December, and hope to have a chance to personally say Thank You for the privilege of being your dentist for the past 3 decades! Please come by and say Hi when you are in the office over the next 6 months.
