Dr. Sumit Chawla received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago before going on to get his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University and his Certificate in Orthodontics and MBA from Roseman University of Health Sciences. He is a board certified diplomate for the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of many orthodontia-related organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, and the Chicago Dental Society. His father, Dr. Jag Chawla, is also an orthodontist.Dr. Sumit Chawla has followed in his footsteps.
Dr. Jag Chawla is passionate about orthodontics and understands the importance of staying current with clinicaland technological advances. With more than 42 years of experience in both clinical and academic orthodontics, Dr. Chawla has perfected his ability to thinkand deal with all disciplines of dentistry. He believes and promotes multi-specialty coordination to achieve theperfect outcome for his patients.
Dr. Chawla attendedKing George Medical and Dental College in Lucknow, India where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Sciencein orthodontics. He has a certificate of specialty in orthodontics fromLoyola University, and earned his diploma in dental public health from theUniversity of Toronto College of Dentistry.
Dr. Chawla was formerly a clinical instructor, teacher, and professor of orthodontics at King George Medical and Dental Schools College of Dentistry in Lucknow, and also served on the faculty at the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry, Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a licensed specialist in child and adult orthodontics, TMJ and orofacial pain, and a certified Invisalign orthodontist.
Dr. Chawla is a member of many orthodontia-related professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Rhiannon Holcombe believes in providing exceptional care and spending quality time with each child to make every visit positive, safe, and fun. She believes if the visit is enjoyable and pleasant, then children will feel better about coming to seethe dentist, which will create a lifetime of good dental habits.
In addition to routine dental exams, she also screens each patient for orthodontic needs, dental developmental abnormalities, and counseling for oral habits. Dr. Holcombe also has experience and training in treating special-needs and medically compromised patients. During Dr. Holcombes spare time she enjoys reading, running, kickboxing, and traveling.
Dr. Rhiannon Holcombe, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is originally from Irving, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in biomedical science where she graduatedcum laude. Shereceived her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Dr. Holcombe completed her specialty degree in pediatrics and her masters in oral science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest techniques and recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Holcombe is currently a member of many dental associations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, & the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
