Dr. Jason Jamali is originally from Michigan. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan followed by his dental degree at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Jamali then returned to the University of Michigan for his medical and oral and maxillofacial surgery training. This training exposed him to full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with additional training in reconstruction and microvascular surgery. Dr. Jamali also completed two years of general surgery and advanced training in anesthesia.
Following residency Dr. Jamali worked as a full-time assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago. While at UIC, he taught residents and dental students and authored several publications. Dr. Jamali continues teaching residents at Illinois Masonic Hospital where he also treats facial trauma. He has a special interest in orthognathic surgery, implants, facial trauma, and benign pathology.

Very satisfied with Dr. Jamali and the staff at the Oak Park location. The process was explained thoroughly & what to expect afterwards. He made sure we had our questions answered and put any concerns to rest. My son had 5 extractions done at once and the process was seamless. My son is no longer in pain from a bad tooth and I'm grateful for this. I feel comfortable referring this oral surgeon to people. Thank you Dr. Jamali + staff.

Waiting room was a bit cold and I had to wait a bit longer than I thought but the staff was pleasant and polite the dentist was great explained things well so it was worth the extra few minutes

Dr Jamali and every staff member I encountered was very professional, kind and knowledgeable with awesome communication skills. Dr Jamali started off by educating me on what was going on with my impacted wisdom tooth. I love how open and honest he was about the process before the procedure began. I really appreciated how during the procedure he walked me through everything he was doing and what I should expect to hear and feel! I was very nervous and Dr Jamali and his assistant were awesome! The procedure was quicker and less painful than I anticipated.

I was really scared to have the procedure for an implant. Dr. Jamali and Raoul listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I thank Dr. Jamali for his kindness and patience during the procedure and for being willing to tell me what he was doing as the procedure progressed. I am grateful for his knowledge, competence, skill, expertise, and experience, all of which helped me successfully receive not one, but two implants on the same day.

Finish two wisdom teeth in 30 minutes, didn't feel a thing. All medical staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this facility for oral procedures.

Got my wisdom tooth with Dr. Luria based off his reviews. Dr. Luria treated me like I was a bother I felt uncomfortable. Per my experience as a POC this was not a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for my father or I. I wasn't told how to prepare for my surgery before my appointment and I'm sure because of that my recovery was brutal. I just needed 1 wisdom tooth removed at the time and I was planning to have the rest done when my benefits renewed but the front desk convinced me my insurance would cover all 4 and the doctor seemed to be impatient and upset at me for discussing prices, so I agreed. Later I get a bill for $400 and when I called the billing department they told me another amount. I've worked in healthcare and I can tell this place is sketchy as far as billing goes.
