Dr. Philip Geron completed his dental school training at UMDNJ in Newark, NJ. Dr. Geron subsequently completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery training program at UMDNJ and Jersey City Medical Trauma Center.
Dr. Geron has earned his Fellowship status with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, has been practicing in Westfield, NJ since 1993, where the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including wisdom teeth extraction, dental implants, and general anesthesia are also routinely performed.
Dr. Paul CF Li obtained his B.S degree in Biochemistry and minored in business management at State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2001. During his time at SUNY Stony Brook, he was elected as an officer of the National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Paul CF Li received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2006. He furthered his education at Drexel University College of Medicine, receiving his medical degree (M.D.) in 2010.
Dr. Paul CF Li completed his 6 years of intense Oral Maxillofacial surgery specialty training at Drexel University & Hahnemann University Hospital and Saint Christophers Hospital for Children. He served as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Chief Resident from 2010 to 2011. He continued his commitment to education and remained as an Associate clinical professor/instructor of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital and Saint Christophers Hospital for Children after graduation.
Dr. Paul CF Lis clinical interests include pediatric and adult Oral Maxillofacial surgery, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, oral and maxillofacial pathology, as well as reconstructive surgery of the oral maxillofacial region. He has published numerous articles in his respective field, including Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and International Journal of Maxillofacial Trauma.

I received a bill 2 months after service was rendered. When called for explanation, billing management response was she verbally mentioned that the insurance covered 90% .. I would never agree to pay a bill of to an unknown amount. And If I did my signature or initial would be present.. They would not let me talk to the DR..

I have to say that never in my almost 50 years has anyone helped me so much. I came in today with a migraine. I get them often. When I left it was gone thanks to Dr.Philip Geron. This dr. Knowa his stuff and does not just dismiss you're nothing is wrong. The staff are all very kind and helpful. Thank you. Jonelle Vella

I must've had a different Dr. Li than in these reviews because he seems like a straight to the point, no bs or small talk kind of person. In numerous visits he might've spoken a couple sentences to me and I always felt rushed out of there in all 3 visits. Still 4 stars because of how amazing and nice his staff is, and the work he did so far has been good, I haven't felt any pain. Update 3/19/2021 - 2 follow up visits since, everything is healing perfectly. I can appreciate a Dr who is busy when they're good at what they do. Most recent visit seemed less busy and really took our time so I appreciate it. Updated to 5 stars :) would recommend and as always, awesome staff here

My first time time because my dentist recommended this place. The staff seemed nice but the dr or whatever he is acted as if he was offended by my presence, so I don't think I will ever return here. I never leave reviews, however, I felt the need to do so.

The day in April 2019 when Dr. Li extracted My left upper molar is the day I will regret for the rest of my life. I have permanent damage to my cranial nerves It was a horrible recovery and he never even called me afterwards to see how I was feeling.. I called his office and spoke with his partner, Dr Geron , Who prescribed lots of pain medication for me because I was in such distress . I have problems to this day, horrid facial pain every day. I need to be on medication just to take the edge off the pain. I recall right before the surgery Dr. Lee saying to me "here sign this ". I asked him what it was for and he replied "This is in case I need your trigeminal nerve." He said it rather glibly. I would never want anyone else to experience this which is why I am posting. "

Had my wisdom teeth extraction surgery there. Everything went smooth. Got TMJ issue afterwards but it happens. The staff is always professional. Highly recommend.

The doc and staff were beyond helpful and considerate. I was a nervous wreck, and had to get 4 wisdom teeth pulled, all of which were badly impacted. I got an IV, and the next thing I know I'm awake and on the way home. Procedure was painless. Recovery is recovery, but at least here you know you'll get the work done right!

Would highly recommend this place. Wisdom tooth extraction went very smoothly. No pain at all. No collateral damage. Staff was ok. Doctor was Great! A little woozy and disoriented after the anesthesia but this was my first time being put to sleep. I didn't take it well. Sorry staff!

Ms. Josephine needs to take a customer service class. She was extremely rude to my partner when all she needed was clarification on the prices after she was told from her insurance company to acquire that information prior to service.
