Westerville Dental Associates four dentists have nearly 100 years of combined experience between them. We also have a team of dental assistants and hygienists who share our vision that dental should be gentle but thorough, and that your dental health is more important than anything else. A member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Association, he is certified in a number of dental technologies and procedures, including Bioesthetic Dentistry, Cerec Restorations, Oral Conscious Sedation, and Invisalign.
He is a graduate of Xavier University, The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, and the Misch International Surgical Implant Institute, as well as a participating member of the International Congress of Implantologists.
Dr. Stickel lives in the Columbus area with his wife of 25 years, Cherie. They have two grown sons and a daughter. In addition to his family, Dr. Stickels passions include fishing, golf, snow skiing, and boating.
Dr. Choi is proud to work at Westerville Dental Associates. She provides comprehensive dental care for patients including fillings, crowns, implant restorations, root canal therapy, extractions, dentures, and Invisalign.
Dr. Choi is an active participant in several study clubs to incorporate the current dental technologies and trends into her patients' care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Association. She speaks Korean and Spanish.

I had a root canal done 2.5 years ago, I just had to have it redone because one of the pulp chambers was not cleaned out and my tooth got infected causing an abscess.

I hate to give 5 stars because who thinks a teeth cleaning is a 5 star event? However, service is excellent from check in to check out and nothing hurts!

Needed a tooth pulled. After waiting an hour to see dr. $119 for a consultation x-ray. Then $268 for tooth pull. Then $592 for bone graft. Said I needed it. So, to get it done with implant. Total almost $5000.00. For one tooth! There was no offer to work with me on pricing. I don't have insurance. In there printouts and forms it mentions how they take in considerations on giving fair competitive prices and working with patients. That's why I went. Complete opposite. I left after I felt I just had $119.00 dollars stolen from me. Called another local dentist. $19.00 consultation and x-ray. Tooth pulled for $190.00. Thanks for nothing Westerville Dental. It looked like they work with a lot of minorities (from what I saw in the waiting area) that have no insurance. Everyone I saw was making cash payments. Sketchy!!

I have been going to see Dr Stickel for years now. Not only do I think he is a very competent Dentist, I also trust that he gives the best recommendations for my dental care. I have had two dental assistants over the years. Both have been excellent.

I have worked in the dental industry for over 40 years and have been in many practices. Westerville Dental Associates is one of the best. Drs. Stickle and Choi are awesome, as is the entire staff.

After calling around a couple places for emergency dental for my dad, I ended up calling Westerville dental associates. It was the best decision. While trying to help my dad who was in so much pain and had high anxiety about going, they made me feel like he belonged there and that they would take good care of him, just by talking to them on the phone. They were able to get him in the next day at a time that worked well for his nerves lol. They were amazing! I was a nervous wreck for my dad and he was as well. However they gave him some laughing gas and treated him so kindly. He has spent years of avoiding the dentist and he was scared of being judged and he was really down on himself. But they did not worry about any of that, just about what was happening in the moment. I really appreciate them taking care of my father. I am planning on switching dentist and getting into their office! I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you guys for taking care of my dad!
