    Saw Dr. Katz this morning and he was extremely rude. He acted like I was an imposition coming in for an unexpected dental issue. He also didn't offer any helpful insight as to the cause of the issue or its resolution. I'll be looking for a new practice where the overpaid dentists aren't so abrasive and condescending.

    I was left sitting in a chair for 45 minutes (last year) waiting for a periodontal exam. They cancelled on me and I am now a VERY HAPPY patient at Buffalo Dental Implant. I am on my second surgery at Buffalo Dental. Don't go here!

    We have been going to Western New York dental for years, and they always have billing issues! Keep in mind I only get cleanings that should be covered as preventative! And my insurance has not changed, so I don't know why we have the same issue time and time again! And my insurance has not changed either, maybe once in the last five years and I go regularly every six months. My husband and I were also always late going back and waited in the waiting room for forever. The only reason they get to stars and not one star is because they have very convenient hours. We are finally switching and I am excited to start at a new dental office.

    I have been going for years and never had any issues until now. I love the dentist and the hygienists, but the issue comes with the billing. I don't recommend coming here unless you want to get scammed. I was told my account was sent to collections even though I have insurance and they never even billed me for this so I never knew I had a balance. At first they refused to give me any information on my own account and had months of back and forth with them and the collection agency and the collection agency telling me I didn't have an account. But miraculously someone at the dental office finally noticed that it wasn't sent to collections (suspicious). Each time I call they continue to change their story on what went wrong. Didn't want to cause any problems so I paid for my appointment with extra fees slapped on and went on since they said they wouldn't file with my insurance since the appointment was a few months ago. But they ended up contacting my insurance and insurance paid for that appointment as well, but they covered for more than what I was told the appointment cost in the first place. So tell me why the cost of this appointment keeps going up. They refuse to give me my money back even though my insurance paid for it. I've noticed other people complain about the billing issues so it is a universal experience at this office, not just me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. There are so many other better dental offices in the area that aren't money hungry like they are. If you have a similar experience I recommend filing a complaint with the FTC.

    The first time I visited this place I had a broken filling. Since they had not seen me before, they wouldnt fix it without doing a cleaning. So, I had a severe toothache for a week before they could get me back in after cleaning my teeth. Now, less than 6mo later, have a severe tooth ache and I called and the front desk person (Stacey) said they wont help me unless I get another teeth cleaning. She was very rude and hung up the phone on me. She said, "Get through your antibiotics first, then we will clean your teeth, then you can sched an appointment for a severe tooth ache." How is that even ok or professional? How about you take care of the person first and then Ill come back for a cleaning when I feel better? What is wrong with these people?! Stacey is horrible at her job and treats people terrible. I will be reporting this to the NY State Dental Association.

    The actual Dentists and hygienists are AMAZING. Have been taking the kids for years. I recently had to visit for myself since the office I go to doesn't do oral surgery. However after going over a plan I did agree to out of pocket expenses. Which after the work turned out to be way more than I expected. On that note, also with recent work on my child. Office staff I feel , aren't submitting claims properly and I've had to pay out of pocket like never before. It's very disheartening and VERY expensive.

    My hygienist, Samantha Eslick, RDH was excellent as always. I certainly recommend her. Front desk personnel are professional and pleasant to deal with.

    Avoid these vultures if you value your credit rating. They claimed I owed them money, and sent it off to a collection agency without first contacting me & asking me to pay.

    I bring my three kids (8, 6 & 4 years old) here and it is always such a pleasant experience. The staff is kind and helpful and my kids actually are excited going to the dentist. Much appreciated!

    I was going somewhere else for a long time. every time I went in they told me I needed something. I finally decided to try somewhere else. I heard of WNY Dental Group I am so glad I did! The office is very organized, super clean and friendly. I check in sit less than 5-10 minutes, taken back my hygienist my teeth are checked, cleaned we discusses any tips to keeping healthy gums and teeth. X rays are taken if only necessary. I never had an issue with billing and unexpected costs, I do have insurance.

    I made a specific appointment for deep cleaning of my teeth. Rather than doing any cleaning they referred me to other dentist and charged me $290.00 for doing nothing,

    I had dental work redone that was initially done in the past by a different practice because I was not happy with how it looked. At WNY dental, the dentist who did my work did so with such precision and expertise- the difference is truly remarkable.
