I received an Invisalign consult at the Gates location and was told I would be a good candidate. So, I went to WNY Dental's Henrietta location where they do orthodontics for a more thorough evaluation. Upon this consult, Dr. Tina Imbriglio wanted me to receive clearance from WNY Dental's Periodontics team in Gates before proceeding with Invisalign. Of course, when I went for the Periodontal consult, they informed me I would have to undergo a series of two gum graft surgeries to correct some recession on the upper gums on both sides of my mouth before they would clear me for Invisalign. I really wanted Invisalign so I agreed to the surgeries. The periodontal surgical process was painful and took approximately 4-5 months to complete between surgeries and healing. Finally, I was cleared for Invisalign. I went back to WNY Dental's ortho group and after getting my scans done and having my trays made, had Invisalign installed in my mouth. After the first 2 weeks of wearing the Invisalign, I received a phone call from Dr. Tina Imbriglio where she stated that she was looking at my initial x-rays and noticed that I have root resorption on two of the upper teeth in my mouth and that in order to continue with Invisalign treatment, she required my consent as the resorption put me at greater risk of the teeth being "compromised". At this point, I was very alarmed and did not give my consent over the phone so she scheduled an appointment for me to come in to discuss further. At this appointment, I told her that I am unwilling to continue with treatment considering I am at risk of those teeth possibly falling out or worse. I also stated that I wish she had reviewed my x-rays prior to telling me I am a good candidate, taking my money, and installing Invisalign in my mouth. She backpedaled and got very snippy with me at this point because I called out her mistake. I told her that I would like the invisalign removed because at this point I am just going to get porcelain veneers somewhere else. I scheduled another appointment and had my Invisalign removed. The practice manager, Amber (I think), never got back to me about recompense for the money I already spent on the Invisalign, but I assume they think because they sent me off with a retainer that it's all good. I learned at the removal appointment that Dr. Imbriglio was leaving the practice and moving back to Connecticut, but I would be passed off to another orthodontist for a follow up appointment in a few months (as if I would ever let anyone at this place touch my mouth again). To top it all off, months later, a stitch that they failed to remove from my periodontal surgery erupted through my gumline and required removal. I wouldn't give these people a dime more and I don't trust them at all. My personal opinion is that they do not care enough to be practicing on human beings.

Love it here. Very thorough and discussion are in depth but where you can understand. Reasonably priced and they dont try to coerce you into their recommendations. They let you decide based on the information they give you. Flexible hours. Fast and courteous.

Everyone is helpful, efficient, prompt. Dental care samples offered when available. They have provided me with dental care for 30+ years. I have bridges that are that old. They are holding strong.

The worst. In terms of competencies (6 times for a root canal), lacking of transparency (price increase 30%) and courtesy (secretary at the desk always rude)

I have to give 5 stars to the staff at the Henrietta, NY (Southtown) location! The front desk is so pleasant which is huge when you are coming in anxious. I have had dental work my whole life so I should be used to it but instead I have more anxiety now. Dr. Elizabeth Wierchowski was amazing! Compassionate, patient and listened to my concerns. She is probably the best dentist I have ever had! Her kindness and attitude with me made all the difference in my experience and I thank her very much! Plus, Mary her assistant was just the same so between them all I left extremely happy!

Five stars all around for the terrific and welcoming front office/reception staff and dentistry practitioners at WNY Dental. As always, dental services are highly professional and capable and delivered with courtesy and concern. Preventive measures and patient responsibilities are always discussed in some detail. Costs seem reasonable, as well. Thanks to Galina Gnip, hygienist, for a super cleaning and to Dr. Donald Yeager for review and consultation. W. McLane, January 20, 2020

Stars for the front desk, they are all very friendly. Went in for xrays and the dental hygenist jabbed my mouth pretty harshly with the x-ray equipment and having my teeth cleaned was like getting teeth pulled (hah). Covered my teeth with floride (which I did not want) and it burned my tongue, paid cash for the floride. Found cavities, fine, had them filled; dentist took 2 hours filling three cavities (jaw was EXTREMELY sore after) and pieces of the fillings flaked out of my teeth (I was chewing on filling material) two days later. Still cant floss the two teeth that were filled and they are extremely painful and sensetive(worse than before with the cavities in em!). Have to go in to a different dentist to clean up the mess. Got a strange sense that the place wasnt very clean... there was dust on some of the equipment that I stared at while waiting for the novacane to kick in. Just an overall weird experience.

Eh, dental hygienist and secretary were both very nice, however the dentist on staff, Dr Bacchetta, John, DDS, seemed kinda tired and grumpy. I'm not doubting his skills. I'm sure it's just a lot of patients an office like that brings across their plate. I probably wouldn't return though, but that doesn't mean the place was horrible or not worthy of your visit.
