I was referred to WNY Dental from a friend who had a good experience but sadly mine was not. I was in need of a root canal and my primary dentist unfortunately did not preform them so I needed to look elsewhere for the procedure. When I called they told me I would need to send an x-ray and referral to their email address which was not an issue. My dentist was able to send that over and I never received a call to schedule an appointment. I tried calling for the next two weeks endlessly. I tried multiple times a day figuring some times might be busier than others but my call would never go through and I'd be forwarded to voicemail. I left several messages requesting to schedule an appointment and never received any call backs. When I finally got through they said they never received my information. I contacted my dentist to resend and she did right away. When I called back the woman on the phone sounded annoyed with me and said I would need to email an x-ray and referral to which I replied I had and it should be in their inbox. It was but I was still told the referral asking to evaluate tooth number 3 specifically was not sufficient enough. They asked that I contact my office for a more detailed referral. I then explained I didn't understand what else was specifically needed and that I felt as though I was a middle man getting nowhere when all I wanted to do was schedule an appointment. They said they would contact my office directly. When I called my dentist she said she had spoken to her and explained that was the referral. WNY dental said they would fax over the specific information that was needed but never sent the fax or called me back. I decided to schedule an appointment with an office who is actually happy to assist me. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this office.

Saw Dr. Katz this morning and he was extremely rude. He acted like I was an imposition coming in for an unexpected dental issue. He also didn't offer any helpful insight as to the cause of the issue or its resolution. I'll be looking for a new practice where the overpaid dentists aren't so abrasive and condescending.

Absolutely love this place! I went in for my wisdom teeth removal today and they made me feel so comfortable! From the moment when I walked in and all throughout the surgery! I was awake during the procedure and I chose to do it that way and they talked me through every step and what noises I would hear and if I were to feel pressure. Dr. Roger and his assistant were great, they kept telling me how great I was doing and it made me feel super comfortable! Would definitely recommend to others.

Absolutely idiots, did a procedure without verifying insurance, later tried to charge thousands of dollars.

This dental practice is only concerned about the $$$! They deserve zero stars! They stink in treating a person with dignity and respect. If you have dental coverage that covers cleanings, exams, and x-rays they will find a way to charge you anyway! It's so disgusting that they are just out for your money! Please stay away from this practice at all costs, if you have any self respect.

I have been extremely displeased with how WNY Dental treats their patients and the little respect they have for their patients time. My last 2 appointments at this location were cancelled after I drove and waited in the lobby for 15 minutes because the dentist was not at the office. I am not sure why this office doesn't do a better job of adjusting their schedules when a dentist is out so that patients don't have to move their appointments 2 months out. I would at least expect a call before I took time off work and drove to the Depew location to notify me that my appointment was cancelled. I have an appointment with a new dentist next week and was not questioned at all when I asked them to transfer my records to the new dentist.

Friendly and professional staff make scheduling easy. There are never long waits and they strive to make you comfortable and explain everything.

Good care but unreasonable with billing adjustments on fees and such. Sometimes things happen but they seem to not care.

I would recommend this office for services. The only complaint is the bathroom for patients is always disgusting every single time I go in there I dread using the bathroom.

Didn't have a single visit where their office didn't screw up something with our billing. Worst office ever. Don't waste your time or money.

From the second I spoke to the receptionist on the phone for an emergency, I was instantly in love! They got me in as quick as they could, and were PHENOMENAL!!!!! From the two amazing Hygienists Alana & Elise making me feel right at home and super welcome, to Dr. Webber who went above and beyond for me! They are kind, courteous and VERY friendly! With the pandemic going on, the office was spotless and I felt very comfortable with how everyone was distanced as we waited. I cant wait to go back and have my smile restored by a superb Dental group! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I went here to get my wisdom teeth out and they really helped me have a positive experience. From the very beginning everyone was very thorough with educating me on what to expect, and helping me down from the anxiety I was feeling while experiencing so many firsts. I really recommend these guys!

I"ve been going to the WNY Dental Group since about June of 2018 and I've found them to be very professional, efficient, and friendly. I've been able to get in timely for routine as well as urgent dental needs.

I have been going here for years and have had nothing but great experiences but the last few times I have gone have been the worst. It all started 6months ago when I cracked my tooth flossing... honestly I had this filling for ten years so it was bound to happen at some point. The next day, I called the office to get an appointment because the pain was pretty rough. I had to wait about a week to get in which was okay for me because I can handle pain pretty well. When I saw the doctor he was very nice and professional. He numbed my mouth up and then wanted to start drilling. (Usually they numb me up and give me a few minutes but I think because the place was packed he was trying to make this a quick repair.) When the dentist started drilling I rose my hand because the pain was absolutely insane. The dentist was kind and said he would give me more numbing medication. Then he proceeded to drill again without waiting for the numbing medication to do it's thing. Again, I sadly had to raise my hand because the pain again was through the roof. He gave me even MORE numbing medication... and I sat for about ten minutes.(At this point I felt awful, like I was a baby or something... I did not want to be on of those people. I told myself that if there is pain, I just will have to just deal with it.) The dentist came back and started drilling and I was fine through the procedure until the dentist said... "Oh crap". ( I pretended not to hear it and just continued to try to be the best patient I could be.) During the procedure the dental hygienist was pointing out things for the dentist to do, which kind of made me a bit nervous....But still was thinking things will be good. At the end, the dentist said if my filling hurts after a few weeks to come back in. My tooth hurt for the next six months and was now terrified to go back in, until I started getting extremely sharp pain . I had one of my friends who is the UB dental school look at my tooth and she said OMG you got to get in your tooth is completely cracked and possibly to the gums. I called to get an appointment with the dentist and they could get me in within a week. I go in to explain to the dentist that my tooth has been hurting for months but now has become worse. He goes in my mouth and says he sees nothing and the X-ray shows nothing. (Being in healthcare, I hate to be that person coming in and stating my diagnosis, but at this point I asked him kindly to look back in my mouth for crack.) He kindly did but could tell this dentist was irritated with my request. He looked again and said he saw nothing! I then finally had to say sir, please I think there is a crack in there. Sure enough, he said... "I see it now, the filling is moving." (I honestly should have walked out at this point but my tooth was hurting so bad that I had to hope this guy could just fix it.) A week later to today, I got my filling repaired. While getting injected with the numbing medicine, I rose my hand because the pain was not like normal. He continued to keep injecting. I then started to talk to say... no seriously something is really burning. He stopped and said in a really snarky way "do you want this done? Because if you do that again I can't do this for you." I should have honestly walked out. Me raising my hand is a patient trying to vocalize something feels wrong, be ignored, and then criticized for feeling pain has gone to a new low. If I had jerked my body or pulled away I could see any professional saying this... but raising my hand... being ignored... then me vocalizing my pain makes me a bad pt I don't want to be a good patient here. Sadly, This was my last time I will ever be going to this facility.

Ila was absolutely amazing! She was so genuine and thorough. Always letting me know what she was going to do before she did it. And always made sure I was comfortable and feeling ok. She even added some humor. She was the truly the best in every way! I only ever want to see her for a cleaning! Thank you, Ila!

I've gone to this place a couple of times with no problem until recently. I waited 1 month for a teeth cleaning.I received a text & email confirming my appointment. My appointment was the first appointment of the day.I checked in with the receptionist provided my name and she stated to have a seat will be with you shortly. I waited 45 minutes so I asked the receptionist if there was an issue as I was the only in the waiting room. She said I'll have to check. The receptionist came back out and said the hygienist is not in today? Nobody called me to let me know or even after I checked in. The office manager or whoever controls the staffing in this place has no idea where there staff is?? I was told I could get an appointment in 2 months. I asked to speak to the office manager and was advised she will call you. I advised the receptionist this was unacceptable. She said well we're human. I walked out and already have another appointment with another dentist elsewhere. An hour later I called asking to speak to the office manager and was told she is on the phone she will call you and never did. This place is a joke and they don't care about there patients you're just a number. I would suggest going to a smaller dental practice that cares about there patients not like this place. If I could leave zero stars I would.
