Not your local family practice. All about the money and their corporate policies here. Recently decided $35 wasn't enough of a no show/cancel fee and made all of their patients agree to pay $100 or they refuse to let you continue as a patient.

Had a cleaning in Sept 2019. I never received a bill in the mail at all. Covid hits a few months later. I finally get a cancellation notice in the mail that I owed a measly 28$. I go on the website and pay. A couple years later, I go to make an appointment and they told me I have to find another dentist due to the 28$ going into collections.

I called with a cracked tooth and wanted it to be extracted. I saw her about this tooth during covid and cancelled my appointment. I will have to wait until October to see her because I haven't been there since 2020. I think this is ridiculous!!! I have pain in my tooth and I have to wait for a cleaning in October???????

If you want them to call CPS on you for not coming in for a follow up appointment for your kid this is the place to go!!!!!! If I could rate this place a zero I would. Took my kid to another dentist and she had one small cavity, nothing like what WNYD said - actually this new dentist was quite impressed with how well her she took care of her teeth.

Been a customer for more than 10 years, Had a tooth extraction, sent home with no pain medication. Over 60 years old and worst dental experience of my life. Do not recommend at all. Update, on 1/7/22 tooth started draining ( weeks after being pulled ) and another piece of tooth came out.

I just had cleaning appointments for my 2 kids. The hygienist was extremely rude and didn't know how to handle kids. My son went first who is very sensitive. She started yelling at him for being a lazy brusher and told him to start telling her the truth because his teeth don't look like they are being brushed 2x a day, at least not the right way. He eventually cried. My daughter went next and was terrified especially after watching her big brother cry. She got yelled at for being a lazy brusher too, and I got up and held her hand trying to encourage her to just get it done. As she kept crying and moving she kept threatening my daughter that if she doesn't stop "your mommy is going to have to leave!". Not going back!!!

I would never recommend this place. Hygienist was very rude. Practice manager didn't care one bit. My dentist left this practice, and when I ask where she went, they replied "we don't give out the info" Its my doctor, I should be able to know, so I can go back to her. Just a bad experience and can see why my dentist is no longer there. Thankfully I found her and can now go to some one who shows she cares. Again, I would never recommend the Blasdell location. Practice manager should be replaced.

Dr. Khaylomsky was a breath of fresh air after awful experiences at a different location. He took the time to explain my options and make sure I understood what each procedure would entail. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable in that he knew what he was doing. The woman working the front desk was friendly and personable. She also took the time to explain next steps after my appointment which was greatly appreciated. The dental assistant was friendly and caring during my entire appointment. I would highly recommend this location!

The girl that answers the phone. I believe her name is Tara is just a crabby,nasty lady. Just rude and talks down to you. I won't be going back.

Scheduled a cleaning with the Blasdell office - I have another dentist I use also for periodic cleaning. Hygienist Marianne stated cld not clean unless full mouth xrays done ($160) + $90 for cleaning. I explained I've had xrays since and was only prepared to pay cash for the cleaning (approx 90) and assessment by DrStarkey at this appt as no insurance. My option was cancel this appt $50 - or reschedule. I also spoke to front desk as paying the $50 - I asked why did they not inform me of this prior to the appt.? as many don't have dental insurance and need to be aware of the cost approx for the cleaning. they were not empathetic nor cared about their patient's- If they noted I had not had a cleaning at this office and they had this POLICY (which others I'm sure are not aware of) that I should of been informed of the Full X-ray requirement and cost! perhaps when scheduling??? A waste of my time and the hygienist also comment "now i have no patients for an hour". Receptionist upon checking out for $50 - stated she will make a note of my comments. I said I doubt that they were 'my comments' I stated that patients with NO dental insurance require to be made aware and not just 'sprung' on them once sitting in the chair. Hygienist and reception were rude. Very disappointed. Loved Dr Starkey But customer service and kindness to patients comes first and the individuals I've met here dont meet my expectations of how patients shld be treated. I see the same has happened to others that have had other situations affecting their appt. Do not recommend anymore
