Western Dental & Orthodontics - General dentist in Phoenix, AZ

Weve been making quality care more affordable since our founder, Dr. Curtis Beauchamp, opened his first office in 1903. Like a lot of visionaries back then in Los Angeles, he did a lot more than start a practice. He opened up dentistry to the people and championed the idea that everyone should have good oral health.

He did it by delivering excellent care at affordable prices and letting his patients pay over time. Back then, they called it 'Credit Dentistry.' These days, it 's how almost all of us afford the braces, root canals and implants we need.

By the 1930s Dr. Beauchamp and his son, Dr. Robert F. Beauchamp were treating thousands of patients at multiple locations. Fast forward to today, and we serve over 1 Million people a year in four states.

I have a 2 pm appointment. I did arrive an hour early. I do not drive so I walked. As you know it's hot here in Phoenix. I was told that I couldn't wait in the lobby because it was there lunch. Ok. Rules are rules. Came back at 2pm. I was not greeted. I was just given the clip board and a pen... and was asked to give my insurance and ID. They have signs everywhere saying Do Not Sit Until Registered. Something to this affect. Ok. No friendly welcoming voice.. no sitting.. . Then they couldn't find me in the system. No helpful advice.. no double checking my info.. I call my insurance. .. and am active and good to go. Computer shitt happens but overall me feeling unwelcome. And dismissed .. never will I go here. I went else where right after and my information pulled up right away. Booked an appointment. Done. Then the ladies up front proceeded to talk out loud about me coming in and should put a sign up saying they are closed for lunch from 1-2. JUST WHAT YOU NEED! ANOTHER UNWELCOMING SIGN.

Western dental is a scam. You will have a hard time scheduling appointments for braces speaking from personal experience. They usually make you schedule an appointment 1-2 months out and end up calling you to let you know that the doctor is not available so they have to either cancel the appointment or reschedule for another 1-2 months out. The people there also seem very inexperienced. I would recommend looking for other places to get your braces done before coming here.

Do NOT use this place. I haven't even had my braces two months and I was cancelled and rescheduled by a doctor who had a week long emergency. I get having an emergency and even rescheduled if. However, this location rescheduled me without calling me and discussing it with me, for TWO WEEKS LATER. I had my appointment planned out since we made it, I got the day off from work, and got the next day off for recovery. Now I'm scheduled two weeks later, when I'm in the middle of a 60 hour work week that I now have to try and get off When I called the location, they basically said SOL, and hung up on me. I got the 24 hour helpline to do literally anything and they also hung up on me TWICE. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. I didn't speak to a supervisor, just another random representative who transferred me to another area who actually took the time to help me. Overall, do not go here, at least to this location. Extremely unprofessional. Rude personal, and inconsiderate of their patient time who spend literally thousands of money. Save yourself the trouble. I'm dreading the rest of my time there

Can't believe this 5 star shenanigans, yeah right. Okay, why they tell me for a deep cleansing and one crown cost out of pocket 2300- and some change. (from what Sybil told me) oh, that was a discount. Original price for s deep cleaning cost 3000.00. I should be conveying more of me experiences from this place.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS !! This happened November 16th of 2020 but I'm still annoyed by it. I called western dental to schedule an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction and a woman w a foreign accent help set me up ( at least I thought she did) she had my appointment set for 8am because she said there was an opening. I get to the office 15 minutes early Bc obv paper work forms and what not. I arrive and guess what the doors aren't open. Why? Oh because she set my appointment for 8am the time they literally open. And when I finally get to the receptionist desk she asks for my ss# because the lady setting my appointment over the phone didn't put it in right. Then she tells me that the doctor to extract my teeth won't be in for months! So why am I here?? Why was my appointment set when no one can see me? Like how is that logical !!!!?? So 1. I set an appointment over the phone and the lady didn't even put my information in right 2. She set my appointment at an idiotic time literally the time they open 3. They scheduled me for an appointment when a doctor can't see me !??? How are these professionals? Then they told me I needed a referral. I asked the lady setting my appointment over the phone if I needed one and she said no. But I'm told different when I'm there. What really blows me is setting my appointment and then telling me the doctor isn't there. That's what really gets me Bc that's the most stupidest bs ever! Literally! How does that even make sense And then I asked the receptionist if the appointment is canceled and she said it's not canceled it just can't move forward .? Does that not mean it's not canceled? Like I can't be seen so yes it's canceled.
