Western Dental & Orthodontics - General dentist in Napa, CA

Weve been making quality care more affordable since our founder, Dr. Curtis Beauchamp, opened his first office in 1903. Like a lot of visionaries back then in Los Angeles, he did a lot more than start a practice. He opened up dentistry to the people and championed the idea that everyone should have good oral health.

He did it by delivering excellent care at affordable prices and letting his patients pay over time. Back then, they called it 'Credit Dentistry.' These days, it 's how almost all of us afford the braces, root canals and implants we need.

By the 1930s Dr. Beauchamp and his son, Dr. Robert F. Beauchamp were treating thousands of patients at multiple locations. Fast forward to today, and we serve over 1 Million people a year in four states.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I waiting over an hour to be attended to even though I had an appointment. Dr. took a look at my teeth just visually without probing and measuring mm levels like most dental offices usually do. I asked him about it and he said he didn't want to put me in a bad mood in the morning. He then proceeded to mumble his analysis with his face pointed to the computer. What he meant to be talking to me? Very rude, very confusing situation. He then left and made me wait another 30 to get my teeth cleaned before I got up and left. I made and appointment with another clinic and I come to find out that WESTERN DENTAL charged my insurance for NOT DOING ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING AT ALL. I now have to file a claim to get my annual xrays and teeth cleaning with my insurance. What a trash company.

I've never had a problem with this place really, the wait time used to be so long but it has improved significantly. Other than that, I've really never had a problem. The people there were always very nice in my experience. Nishi(one of the Dr's/assistants) was very kind and personable.

This is the second time my cleaning has been cancelled. They overbook their appointments and don't have enough staff. The first time I was called an hour beforehand and told that I could get x-rays and that they didn't have time for the cleaning so I rescheduled because why would I want to go to the dentist twice???? Then I go in today, get my xrays done, am waiting in the waiting room for the cleaning, and the receptionist tells me they can't do the cleaning today because they are short staffed. Now I'm scheduled another 3 weeks out. Will it happen????? I don't know!!!!!

I literally just came home crying because after two hours and a half waiting and nobody telling me anything and for them to tell me they can't see me because they had someone else in surgery, Which I understand they could've told me that since the Beginning and I only new this because I kept asking ..I told them I had really bad pain and it was emergency tooth pain and not to get seen. This is Ridiculous do not go to this place ...

Go to my appointment...oops...we don't have you scheduled even though I have my confirmation. Must've been an oversight they said. Go to my actual appointment. Waited an hour to be seen only to find out they messed up their schedule and could only do a cleaning and not a full examination with X-rays and everything else like I had scheduled. Go back to do my examination...wait another hour to be seen.

I know I'm medi-Cal, but Dentist Gordan, You don't manhandled somesone sensitive teeth and gums they way you did mine yesterday. If you cleaned my teeth in 3 minutes flat then you have done this treatment to others. I even had heard another person yelp from another room before my cleaning. You put your hands in my mouth, jammed your tools harshly cleaning an pressing, jamming, then used a cleanx twice to dry up slobber blood from my gums. It was so traumatizing. I hate the fact your what patients like us have to work with because we are MediCal an keep you obviously, arrogantly busy. I also want to see about getting my clipped teeth fix. But you didn't even let me ask, nor listen to anything I have to say. I bought the GUMX package from yall,an hate I will be dealing with your office for the next year. Other than you. DENTIST Gordan, you staff is friendly and great. They had to apologize routinely because of you an now I know why.

The orthodontist and his team are always professional, so far I have had a good experience. The girls at the front are always nice and working hard. It sucks that they always have to face rude customers on a daily basis.

No Stars ! HORRIBLE ! Waited over an hour . Even had to split my teeth cleaning into two separate appts cause they claim to only have 1 person working a day .Dr Gordon is extremely arrogant. Didn't introduce himself , ask for my name , didn't look in my mouth just came in an told me "based off my ex rays everything looks good and no cavities " didn't ask if I had any questions just walked away . Dental hygienist Alona tried to pressure me into writing a good review saying they had a new manager . The entire place is dirty . Rude . & will never recommend this place or go back !

Worst dentist ever. I will never step foot in that office ever again got my teeth pulled March 11th and I still do not have any teeth the ones he gave me were too big don't fit I have to have more surgery done on my mouth per another dentist that I went to, now working with Medi-Cal-dentical to take care of this problem and able to go to another dentist and get the work done on my mouth and new teeth. Imagine not having any teeth since March 11th and what it's June 11th today. Absolute b******* horrible dentist horrible horrible! I've been so depressed and cry almost every night when I'm by myself because I have no teeth and only limited to certain things to eat I have not been able to have a salad an apple a sandwich need I go on.

Long waits, gross rooms, lots of upselling. I'd love to talk about the quality of his work but in the 3 visits I've had here in the last month the dentist hasn't touched my teeth. If you're not here for a $1,000 gum treatment prepare to be a last priority.

Took 2.25hrs as a new patient to be seen, have X-rays and a teeth cleaning. Of which over an hour was due to the terrible service of Dentist Dr Gordon. Avoid him if you can. After X-rays I was shown to my chair and told the dentist would be with me soon. So after 35mins of being left alone with nobody coming by explaining what's going on. I walked out and asked a guy in a white coat who during that time I had watched casual sitting in a chair working on a computer the whole time. Without even looking up he said "someone would be with me shortly". Another 8mins passed. Then he walks in. Turns out he was the dentist! When I asked him what the delays was his answer was "we are a big corporation" that's it - no apology, no sign of caring that he'd prioritized paperwork over patients. Didn't even introduce himself as the dentist or give me his name and seemed like he didn't even care about the delay. He was so casual and unprofessional. He then quickly examined my teeth and left, didn't even comment as to how my teeth were and I was then waiting for a teeth cleaning. While waiting for that I did have another staff member come in and apologized for the service I was receiving which was nice. He did come back after dental assistant had done part of the cleaning to finish off part of it. At which point he then tried to greasily kiss up to me by saying "thanks for being such a great client and understanding" and then had the nerve to say "I hope you give us a good yelp review". All the other staff were nice, however since you have to be seen by this Dentist - I wouldn't recommend it.
