Western Dental & Orthodontics - Orthodontist in Antioch, CA

Weve been making quality care more affordable since our founder, Dr. Curtis Beauchamp, opened his first office in 1903. Like a lot of visionaries back then in Los Angeles, he did a lot more than start a practice. He opened up dentistry to the people and championed the idea that everyone should have good oral health.

He did it by delivering excellent care at affordable prices and letting his patients pay over time. Back then, they called it 'Credit Dentistry.' These days, it 's how almost all of us afford the braces, root canals and implants we need.

By the 1930s Dr. Beauchamp and his son, Dr. Robert F. Beauchamp were treating thousands of patients at multiple locations. Fast forward to today, and we serve over 1 Million people a year in four states.

(Translated by Google) I have been at this dentist for 3 years and I had always come across kind people but at my last appointment the receptionist who attended me was in a very bad mood and did not want to attend to my 2 children because they were minors and I needed an adult per child so that they could attend to them so I asked her to only attend to my girl, she accepted but I had to wait an hour and a half for them to pass her and that she arrive half an hour before the appointment I asked the lady if she would do me the favor of changing the appointment of my other boy to which I replied that she was very busy to wait. The girl was Latin and she was very racist with me. I just want us to be a little more humane and realize that thanks to the fact that there are patients who have jobs, we value our work. If you had a bad day, it's not my fault. It's the first time to visit this office, for my 2:30 appointment yesterday. Everyone in the clinic left an excellent impression on me. The front desk, doctors, hygienists, and the insurance girl were very polite, professional and conscientious. The one that impressed me the most was Jessica, who took me the X-ray. Jessica was such a delightful person, although she was wearing a mask, you could see the sweet smile on her face through her sincere eyes. Her talking was extremely pleasing. She actually made my day. Thank you so much, Jessica! Thanks, everyone! Strongly recommend!

My boyfriend went to get a molar extraction. Afterwards he wanted to cancel his appointment for an unnecessary tooth implant. Everyone treated him as if he was incompetent. He said he wanted to cancel the appointment and no one there allowed him to do it, including the specialist(very unprofessional) he had to make a big deal in order for them to cancel the implant appointments. After my boyfriend explained what the first specialist said they called him a liar. After about an hour they canceled everything the secretaries said they would only charge him $525 for what they had already done, but when we got home we saw they charged him for the full service of $2666. By far the worst service we've received. Very disgusted with the way the specialist and receptionist treated him. There needs to be some action done towards these people. I dont feel comfortable going nor do i think i am the first person to experience something this disgusting.

If I could give no stars I would!! They gave me a root canal and never called me back for a crown. Even when I went in they would say they are working on it. NOW they said I must get it extracted and an implant placed. Every time I go in there is also a problem. The operating hours aren't even correct. Friday it says they close at 6PM, we call they said they closed at 3:30PM. They won't even take accountability for any of their actions instead say that they are now under new management and it will be different now. My entire mouth is all messed up due to them and they don't care. They are so unprofessional and definitely need to be SHUT DOWN.

I always arrive early and I was scheduled for an apt at 12 noon I'm there at 11:30 by 2:30 I finally got to a dental chair by 3:30 they come and tell me my paperwork is to old and I have to come back they keep rescheduling me for over a year now for something that should have been done in a month. Finally get my teeth pulled they leave behind part of a broken tooth in my gum and send me out the door telling me to get my antibiotics and pain medicine at rite aide in 2 hours. It's now 10 thirty and they still haven't called in my prescription I'm in incredible pain and nothing I can do about the pain until morning. Mind you I had 10 teeth removed.

If you have to choose a dentist office, DONT choose this one. The young ladies who work at the front desk are very rude and have no customer service. I've came in the late afternoon and thought maybe they just had a long day... then I had another appointment in the morning and they are STILL rude. The Dentist who did work on my teeth was nice. But when you have to deal with the poor customer service of the other employees, it just makes you not want to come back.

The worst service ever. I arrived for my appointment supplied the front desk my insurance card and filled out the paperwork. I waited in the lobby for an hour just for them to call me on my cell phone inquiring about my insurance never realizing I was still in the waiting room . After two hours go by waiting. I asked to reschedule for the following week. I received a call two days prior to new appointment asking for my insurance information. I informed them they have a copy. I was put on hold for 30 minutes. I just canceled the appointment.

The worst customer service ever. I have been using Western Dental- Sycamore St. Antioch since 2019 for my group home clients . I didn't have any problems until today. The clerks made us wait for more than an hour. Not only that, clerks were so rude and so disengaged. What a big turn-off to this office that I used to bring my clients in for their dental hygiene. Never again Western Dental @Sycamore Dr. Antioch ! You've lost 12 patients forever just for today.
