Western Dental Center: Long Wilson DDS - General dentist in Victorville, CA

Weve been making quality care more affordable since our founder, Dr. Curtis Beauchamp, opened his first office in 1903. Like a lot of visionaries back then in Los Angeles, he did a lot more than start a practice. He opened up dentistry to the people and championed the idea that everyone should have good oral health.

He did it by delivering excellent care at affordable prices and letting his patients pay over time. Back then, they called it 'Credit Dentistry.' These days, it 's how almost all of us afford the braces, root canals and implants we need.

By the 1930s Dr. Beauchamp and his son, Dr. Robert F. Beauchamp were treating thousands of patients at multiple locations. Fast forward to today, and we serve over 1 Million people a year in four states.

Worst customer service and very unprofessional , my appointment was at 11:00am and waited until 12 and asked them what's going on? at what time are they going to start the root canal and the deep cleaning? They said it's going to be approximately another 40 minutes wait, had to reschedule because I had to go to work, then came back a week after, they gave me a 10:00am appointment and said that I was going to be the first one and same thing I had to wait another hour, then once inside the dentist said my insurance doesn't cover the root canal and the crown, I said what? They called me that the insurance approved both the deep cleaning and the root canal, I said that is something that I shouldn't be discussing with you, it's with the administrative personnel, once they call me in is because you are going to do the root canal, not to be arguing about what the insurance covers or what doesn't cover, I waited one hour to be called in so if that is the case why didn't they say anything before they called me in? I'm already laying on the bed to get the work done and you want to negotiate here? Unbelievable... Then the dentist got mad and refused to do the work, all I said you should tell me what the terms and conditions are, give me the estimate before going in not when you are suppose to start doing the work. At the end another dentist did the work and it took him 3 hours to do a root canal, my jaws were so sore because the thing they put in my mouth to keep it open, the dentist assistant didn't know how to take the X Ray, she had to take about 10 to get one right, then after taking the Xrays she forgot to pull the thing they put up next to the tooth, then both the dentist and the assistant disappeared I guess they went to break twice and left me there laying down with my head down instead if bring it back up in a vertical position, no consideration at all, then the effect of the anesthesia was going away and he kept drilling and I was in pain, of course after two and a half hours because it took him 3 hours to kill the nerves. I was a total of 4 hours and a half 8n there, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Had two appointments for my son, one @ 3pm for a free braces exam and we did not get taken back until after 4pm and the second @ 4pm for xrays and exam and did not get taken back until 5pm. What the hell is the point of having appointments if you can't keep on schedule. I can understand like a 10-15 minute wait but not an hour. We spent a total of 3 and 30 mins there 2 hours was waiting to be called back. They did a good job treatment wise and the back staff was friendly.
