Dr. H is a native of Newport Beach California, growing up with a passion for surfing, skating, and snowboarding. He completed his undergraduate education at UC Santa Barbara with a major in film studies and subsequently worked in the film and television industry both in New York and Los Angeles. After a few years of working, Dr. H decided to change career paths and pursue his childhood dream of becoming an orthodontist

Dr. H completed his dental education in 2014 at Indiana University School of Dentistry graduating with highest distinction and receiving several awards and recognition including: the OKU Alpha and Omega Award,AAOB Oral Biology Award,William Kramer Award,ADA Dentsply Research Award, and membership in the OKU honor Society. After dental school, Dr. H completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland Oregon. The residency has given Dr. H exposure to several techniques and procedures including working with mini implants, soft tissue laser and Propel systems. Outside of orthodontics Dr. H enjoys spending time with his wife Judi and two daughters, Emri and Zowie. He loves going to concerts, playing guitar, trying new restaurants, hiking, bouldering and most outdoor activities. Dr. H is excited for the opportunity to work with you!
