Hi, I am Dr. Cesar Chilmaza. I am originally from Peru and moved to Ft. Lauderdale when I was a child. I eventually moved to Palm Harbor with my wife Lisa after finishing my doctorate at Marquette University in Milwaukee. We have two dogs, Lexi and Choco, and we are also happy to announce the addition of a beautiful baby girl in October 2017. When I am not helping patients, I enjoy playing volleyball, going to festivals and spending time with my family and friends.
My father was in town for my sisters wedding and had one of his front fillings come out two days before the wedding. Dr. Cesar Chilmaza was able to get him last minute and did an amazing job. My father said that he did a better job fixing it than the original filling! Not only did he do a great job, he and his staff we so friendly and knowledgeable and did everything in their power to help take care of him. Thanks to Dr. Cesar my sisters wedding photos wont be a disaster!
Cesar is amazingly kind and patient with my endless questions. Im ridiculously terrified of the dentist and they somehow understand my fears while gently coaxing me to follow the treatment plan they recommend. Theyre also open evenings for those of us still working. Simply put, theyre quite delightful!

I never thought I would be able to smile nor did I want to as a cancer survivor after many years of treatments and radiation my teeth were awful and of all the other effects having a pretty smile was one of the few things I controlled long story short it is very hard to find a dentist that wants to work on a cancer patient or survivor I found one because I needed all my teeth extracted and I wanted implants with the help of family and friends we raised a whole lot of money I got Implants long story short it hasn't even been a year I've never been in so much pain more disappointed and more depressed I had given up I had gone to so many dentists nobody wanted anything to do with me because what was done to me before was just so awful My last bit of hope came when I reached out to Westchase Smiles institute There aren't enough words or enough tears to relay or Xpress how life-changing my experience has been from my very first communication everybody there makes you instant family you don't feel alone you don't feel scared and I've never trusted a doctor more in my life please spare yourself the agony of what I went through and go to this amazing life-changing family of experts led by the most amazing dentist

I am a new patient of Dr Chilmaza for past 2 months and I can honestly say this has been the best experience I have had getting dental work or cleanings. He's very thorough & make sure you understand everything. He's very friendly always chatting with you & more importantly he make you feel comfortable. The staff he has around him is just as amazing & make you feel welcomed. I HIGHLY recommend if you're looking for a great dentist who cares. **Update** I am still a patient here & they are still providing excellent dental care from the receptionist to the hygienist & especially Dr Chilmaza
