UPDATE 30OCT: Reduced to two stars. When I had my procedure, I was assured both in writing and verbally that my insurance was IN NETWORK. In addition, they prominently display that my carrier is IN NETWORK in the office and on their website. However I found out later after receiving a bill this week that they are, in fact, NOT in network. I attempted to resolve the matter with the office and while they did waive the additional charges, they refused to discuss the situation with me in an amicable manner. I also found the quoted prices they conveyed to were not what they ultimately billed. They profusely blamed my insurance but in reality this was completely their doing. I am not happy that I was misled about pricing and coverage during a moment where I was in excruciating pain. Be careful going here and triple check everything before you commit to any services so you don't have a similar experience. ORIGINAL REVIEW (EDITED TO REFLECT DETAILS ABOVE): I had to have my 4 wisdom teeth pulled pretty promptly. The nurses and folks that did the novacaine and gas were phenomenal. The removal procedure was quick and I felt the doctor demonstrated strong experience there. The reason I didn't leave 5 stars is post-care and general patient handling. For post care, I got a ziplock bag with VERY basic information and a few gauze pads. Knowing what to expect as my wife had this done last year, I was very disappointed that no one spent the time explaining to me dietary restrictions, proper cleaning techniques, things to avoid to prevent dry socket etc. They also provided none of the materials I'd need for post extraction care and I had to buy them myself. My experience with my wife's extractions (at a different dentist) was totally turnkey and we had everything we needed post surgery, including a detailed discussion on post operative care. Regarding general patient handling... Honestly, I got the sense they wanted me out if there as soon as I was done with my extractions. I don't know why... I explained I hadn't been to the dentist for some time and was looking for a dentist to help me improve my oral health. While they certainly did that by resolving the pain I had via extractions, I didn't get the sense they were interested in a long term patient relationship and they spent no time discussing follow up care or appointments.

The staff was amazing. Very nice, friendly, and above all helpful. I appreciate them for assisting me with my situation. Sara, Heather, and Dr Ohh were probably the best dental staff I've ever had.

I have never been to this dentist. I should add that I only filled out this review after getting texted by them to do so. Clearly a mix up with phone numbers.

Could not of had a better experience. Would recommend this dentist to anyone. Staff was top notch and very friendly. I am able to get my dental appointment on a Sunday. Thanks. Tim

They got me in for an emergency root canal, same day. The staff was so compassionate and kind to me. I was in so much pain I could barely talk but they gave me super quick service and I'm pretty sure missed their lunch break to fit me in. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone. Literally life savers. I am home now feeling much better and super grateful for the staff and dentists.

Dr. Oh and all of the staff were patient, knowledgeable, intuitive and efficient. Dental surgery has rarely been described as "comfortable," but my experience was. They are an asset to our community.

This is an outstanding dentist. Great location off Polaris Parkway. The staff is topnotch and is first class service. If you are looking for a new dentist or new to the area, I highly recommend you check them out.

I had an abscessed tooth and called Westar Dental and they were able to get me in within a few hours of calling them. I have extreme anxiety about injections and Dr. Oh was able to numb my injection sites with a topical paste before injecting me. Dr Oh was very professional and made sure i was as comfortable and physically and emotionally okay through out the process. I sincerely could not be more thankful. I went back a week later to have routine cleaning and Megan was also amazing, kind, and non-judge mental. Perks on also having streaming services for me to be able to watch during procedures and waiting processes. Literally have nothing bad to say in the slightest about Westar Dental! Thank you all!

Woke up to pain I never felt Sunday morning, found this place on Google and man am I glad I did. Dr. Oh did a great job on my wisdom teeth extractions, the staff is knowledgeable (well the ones I interacted with on my visit) and the environment is inviting. This is and will be my new dental office. Thanks for relieving my pain and doing a great and speedy job.

Absolutely amazing as always! I went in for a root canal and unfortunately Dr. Oh had to pull the tooth instead. I ended up with and infection and then dry socket (only my fault), but they were able to get me in quickly when each issue arose and no one judged me for the issues (I'm a smoker and caused them myself). Can't say enough great things about this office!

Went in and had a tooth removed due to pain and only wanted to have it removed! But the doc talked me into getting a bone graft so that way I could have fake teeth as I got older! I'm a smoker of 10 plus years and to ask someone to quit entirely is hard so I held out for a couple days but could t do it. So my bone graft failed a bit and stitches a started to come out, but when I went back in I wasn't treated fairly and as a equal. I wanted the bone graft taken out so that way I was left with them just removing the tooth but no I was put in a chair and told I was getting more stitches! I'm sorry but if person who paid for the surgery then changes his mind and doesn't want it anymore cause it hurts worse than what was happening before then there's something wrong! Cause now I'm in 30 times more pain from him shoving a needle into my mouth that he didn't let numb the. 2 seconds later going right in with stitches! Do not recommend this place to anyone!

My other half went in this morning to get a tooth pulled. They pulled the tooth and cracked the one next to it. When he got home he had a question for them. Called them multiple times no answer. Went back up there at 3, no one was there even though they close a 5 pm. Has to go back in two weeks so they can fix the one they broke. Not a good experience.
