If you were to ask Dr. Romero where she is from, she would probably tell you everywhere. She was born and raised a Navy Brat in Japan then moved to San Diego to attend the University of California, San Diego. At UCSD, she received her B.S in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and double minored in Political Science and Japanese studies. Dr. Romero then went on to attend the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002.

Starting off her dental career in San Diego, she worked at the Sycuan Medical Dental Center on the Sycuan Indian Reservation. Her husbands training and career as a veterinary surgeon moved them to Colorado, Michigan and finally to the East coast. For the past decade, Dr. Romero worked as an associate in Newtown, PA while making time to participate in her childrens activities through the PTA and leading their Girl Scout troops. Dr. Romero finally decided that it is time to venture out on her own and create a practice that incorporates all of the positive things she has learned from her years of practice. Her vision for this practice is one that treats patients as a whole by utilizing the latest in dental technology and training so each patients oral health in turn benefits their overall health. She wants to create a culture in which every team member takes pride in their work and genuinely cares for each patients well being. By treating everyone that we encounter like our own family, patients are truly cared for.

When you walk into our office doors, you will receive a warm aloha greeting by our Patient Care Coordinator, Robin Zovich. Robin was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu and then went on to attend Boston College where she received a B.A in English. After marrying her husband, Robin made her way from Boston to New York. She went on to pursue a career in marketing until deciding to focus on raising her two amazing children. Always keeping busy, Robin has spent the past two decades dedicating herself to raising her family and to serving her community. If she looks familiar, you will recognize her from work on the PTA boards at WWP, or as the Girl Scout Cookie Manager, or on the tennis courts playing USTA matches, or as a team parent and fan for her childrens various sports teams. To further serve her community, Robin was elected to the WWP school board in 2019. In all of the positions that Robin has held, she always does each job above and beyond because she truly cares about what she does. This is what makes Robin the perfect team member of our dental practice. In addition to her husband and two children, Robin has an awesome black lab named Derby and an adorable puppy named Pepper.

When you are ready to be brought back for treatment, you will meet our awesome Certified Dental Assistant, Cheryl. Actually, before you meet Cheryl, you may hear her distinct laugh from down the hallway. That is because Cheryl brings warmth and comfort to our dental office, in addition to her top notch clinical skills and knowledge. Patients immediately know they are in good hands because Cheryl takes a great deal of pride in her job and truly enjoys working with patients. Dr. Romero and Cheryl have worked together in Pennsylvania for the past decade, so they are a great, seamless clinical team. Cheryl has spent over 20 years working as a dental assistant. In a prior life, Cheryls career was as a pie baker at Goodnoes in Newtown, PA. Anyone that has worked with Cheryl in the past has been lucky enough to benefit from having a delicious cake, baked by Cheryl, on their birthday. Cheryl is married and has two amazing daughters, three phenomenal grandchildren, and two adorable rescue dogs.
