Welcome to our online office. We are located in the heart of Rigby, Idaho. We have been specializing in general dentistry since 2001. We believe that our family of patients deserve the best in dental care. We welcome and invite you to stop by our office any time.
I am happy to say that I was born and raised here in Rigby, graduated class of 1983. My parents had a farm in the Clark area approximately 5 miles east of Rigby where raised Cattle hay and grain. It was an awesome place to grow up, not so much then but now looking back I can see that it taught me soo much. I developed my work ethic and desire to help others. We had a tractor without a cab and one of my favorite things was getting bundled up and going around to the neighbors pushing out their driveways during the winter.
I attended Ricks college and later EITC. I relocated to Oak Ridge Tennessee where I worked as a rad con tech, I wanted to return to Idaho and took employment at the INEL and was employed for three years when budget cuts forced my layoff. After much consideration, I sold everything and returned to school attending ISU and then Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wi for Dental school. I graduated in 2001. Dental school was tough but I loved the clinic and was fortunate to excel there.
I consider myself to be very lucky to have been able to return and start a practice here. I love what I do and I am thankful for my friends and patients that visit me for their dental care. I am further blessed to have both of my girls work with me here at the practice. I look forward to meeting you!

I've been there a couple of times and after those appointments I decided to change my children's dentist to mine. The staff are very gentle and caring. I didn't feel a thing!

He recommended for me to get two implants done I had two root canals fail done else where. I had him complete the implants the same week. He has been very accommodating to my schedule has opened his doors even outside of business hours when absolutely needed. His dental assistant Viri is superb. Dr.Ellis made sure I was comfortable for my visit with laughing gas talked me through the whole process what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and stood behind his work as well as answered any future questions I have had about my implants. Since getting both implants done everything's been great I even returned to get a whitening by their hygienist Tauna and again wasn't disappointed.

When I called to ask for prices for a cleaning and xray, I was told $89 for new patients. My husband goes in and gets an xray and the Dr reccomended they pull the tooth that day and he come back for a cleaning another day. My husband pays $100 for his cleaning ($11 more than quoted, ok whatever.) The following week he goes back for his cleaning and the receptionist tells him he's good to go. Then a month later we get a $1,000 bill in the mail for his cleaning. Apparently they did a deep cleaning. Without consulting my husband, without asking if we can afford that cost, without his consent. I would never recommend them. This is theft!

I came in and had 17 remaining teeth extracted and i felt everything!!! The numbing didn't work, the asst was not the sharpest tool in the shed, she couldn't even operate the nitros machine without the dentist telling her how to do so. The dentist thought he was just pulling my bottoms, took his gloves off started to walk and away and was reminded that my appt was for the tops too! By far the worst and most unprofessional dentist experience I've ever had. I know people are almost forced to go there because the except Medicaid and can get you in fast. Please wait and find somewhere else to do your dental needs. Please i beg of you!!!

The actual dentist will make sure to screw you over with any out of pocket expenses possible. I told him what insurance I have, and he made sure to do procedures that would force me into doing more things that made me pay for stuff that my insurance didn't cover. He is the worst, completely unprofessional.

Worst densit ever. I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning/x-ray/filling(I knew I had a cavity prior), and when I got there they said the hygienist wasn't there to do the cleaning, and then they didn't have"time" for my filling, but also they needed to do a consult first before the filling. I told them no, having pain with eating and need the filling. Turns out I actually need a root canal done, but the dentist didn't tell me that until after he drilled into my tooth. He knew my insurance didn't cover root canals, so I ended up leaving with a temporary filling and needing a procedure I can't afford. Don't go here.

One of the worst experiences ever. Had to get a cavity filled and they didn't numb me good enough and I felt the WORST pain I've ever experienced at a dentist. I've gotten yearly cleanings and have had multiple cavities filled and never had a worse experience. Also multiple people I've talked to have also had terrible experiences as well. I'll Never go here again.

I had issues with my other dentist in idaho falls. Their scheduling is always so far out and they didnt really seem to care for their patients well being. I had a bone spur sticking out of my lower gums that was really uncomfortable and they kept canceling my appointment. But let me tell you how amazing westwind dental is, I called them and got in that same day to have it removed! They treat you with such kindness and help with whatever concerns you have. I will definitely be coming back here and highly recommend this place!

Worst dentist ever. You're in pain for weeks later they won't do squat to help you. They tell you all that covered by insurance and it's actually not covered so you're stuck with a bill that you can't afford because they lied. Would never recommend would never go back.

Absolutely love them. I've been twice now and to be honest I haven't had much experience with dentist as an adult and the little I do have wasn't great. But as soon as I came in all my years washed away. Every person I encountered from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist were professional and friendly and treated me with respect and kindness. They are efficient and also quick and didn't leave me waiting for 45 mins after my appt time like most places do ha. I highly recommend this place.

Very unprofessional. While working on my daughters teeth the Dentist and his assistant proceeded to have an entire conversation about how they hate ppl from California....all while my child lays on the chair who is from California. Totally unprofessional and unnecessary. This is a Dentist office. Keep your politics and ignorance to yourself when you're at work. We'll take our family of 8 somewhere else.
