Our friendly staff is dedicated to caring for you and your entire family's oral health and well-being. We take the time to create a personalized treatment for each patient and we offer a wide range of services. It is our goal to make your visit with us an extremely pleasant one and to send you home with a beautiful and healthy smile.
Below is our New Patient Package that you will need to complete on your first visit. You can expedite matters by downloading the package, completing it at home and handing it to our staff when you arrive for your initial visit to our office.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.
Our office features flexible hours throughout the workweek as well as Saturdays, as we strive to accommodate the scheduling needs of our patients. We are dedicated to excellence in patient care and take a proactive approach to eliminating dental anxiety by emphasizing clear communication and offering the option of conscious sedation. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards as well as cash and personal checks. We accept all insurance plans and are currently participating with Delta Dental, MetLife, Guardian, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Ameritas, Principal, United Health Care and Blue Cross. Our practice is conveniently situated in the Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village area, where we share the parking lot with the Saint Mary Campus of AMITA Health Center. We are easily accessible by the Blue Line train, and buses 70 and 49.

Dr. Zarei and his staff are incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. I really appreciate their thoroughness and how they go above and beyond. My teeth have been the cleanest and healthiest since I've been a patient at West Village Dental. Highly recommended!

Dr. Z, Donna, and the entire group over at West Village Dental has always made me and my family always incredibly taken care of! You are always greeted with kindness the moment you walk through the door. Dr. Z is someone that I absolutely trust and I know that we are in the best hands. I have been under the care of Dr. Zarei and his staff for over two decades of unwavering service. From welcoming me as soon as I enter the door ( and in some cases, late ), to the procedure, to my departure, the warmth I experience is akin to a relative on visit. I will be remiss if I never mentioned Dr. Zarei's skill in having "light hands"- my main variable for coming here. I express this as a reassurance to those who have concerns of having a low threshold. Overall the way Dr. Zarei, Donna and Irena have treated me ( and all the others that I have observed ) under their care have been nothing short of exemplary. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I had not been to the dentist in a while before a toothache brought me to my knees. It was a happy coincidence that the closest place was also the best place - West Village Dental. I do not offer this endorsement lightly. But they honestly have made every visit and interaction a pleasant one. And that's saying something considering I've had ~8 visits in the past year. From the front desk, to the dental assistants, to the doctor himself, they are a kind, caring, patient, and calming group that has gone out of their way to put my dental health first. They are upfront about costs of treatment and worked with my insurance company to guarantee I only paid what I had to out of pocket. Their office is sparkling and comfortable and the doctor explains each treatment carefully so you have a grasp of what to expect. While I am moving out of the neighborhood soon, I will not be moving to a new dentist. For me, it is West Village Dental or nothing!

I have been going to West Village Dental for a couple years now and have nothing but good things to say! Dr. Zarei is an amazing dentist and the staff are very welcoming. I am very happy with my experience at West Village and highly recommend.

I can't believe it's been more than 15 years since my family and I started seeing Dr Z, but it has. The fact that I haven't posted a review yet is kind of shameful bc he's not been anything but warm and kind and welcoming to all of us this entire time. And, of course, our teeth look great:) He and his staff are like a family (some of them are family:) and it shows in how they interact with each other and us. One thing I always tell my friends and colleagues about Dr Z is that neither he nor his team push procedures or tests or whatever on you. They meet you where you are and simply offer solutions. And when they do work on your mouth, they do so gently--a huge plus for those I know who fear dentists. In sum, I appreciate Dr Z and his team very much and I cannot recommend them more.

Been going for over a year and had many procedures from cavity fillings to a root canal! Short wait times and fantastic communication! Everything is so efficient I'm always surprised at how quick my visits are! They also do a great job working with my insurance provider and they make things as pain free as possible during procedures!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They worked around my schedule and did their best to ensure that I didn't have any coverage issues with my insurance company. Dr. Zarei was transparent, informative, and really nice.

Best Dentist I have ever had, and the best you'll ever have if you go there too! The staff is kind, understanding and very gentle. Dr. Z is an artist when it comes to dental care. He makes you feel comfortable and safe, especially if you're like me and have a fear of the dentist. Cost-wise, they are affordable and thoughtful of your situation. I love this dental office! I have been a patient for many years. They make each visit enjoyable; the front desk team is extremely friendly and make me feel so welcome. The safety and cleanliness standards are exceeded (especially COVID-19 protocols). Dr Zarei is warm, incredibly knowledgeable, and a true professional who knows his craft. I recently did a ZOOM whitening to match my teeth with a crown I have had for years... it's such a pain to ensure they stay the same shade. Mission accomplished. Someday when the masks come off, I'll be ready to show these pearly whites! After all of these years, they continue to exceed my expectations, and have recommended them to family and friends. Highly suggest booking an appointment here if you're looking for a new dental practice to call home.

I never give reviews of places, but I had to because I love going to see Dr. Zarei. He took me in on short notice when I had a toothache and has always gone above and beyond. I've been to many dentists and never left a review before. The desk workers are always so nice too. I'm lucky I found this place.

Dr Zarei is a great dentist, he works quickly and efficiently and I trust him to do the right thing. I had some dental work done elsewhere (and not done well), before I came to Dr Zarei, and he really helped me out. The staff is all great as well! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a dentist.
