Dr. Dodig earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch where she received several awards in Aesthetic and General Dentistry, including the Myron Sigler Aesthetic Dentistry Award for Outstanding Performance and Interest in Esthetic Dentistry, the Outstanding Prosthodontist Award, and the Star of the South Dental Meeting Table Clinic Award. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association and the Houston Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Dodig is passionate about treating patients as personal friends and with the highest level of professional skill. Devoted to continuing education, she regularly takes courses that allow her to provide an advanced level of care. Her recent specialties include dental implant-supported prosthetics, TMJ dysfunction, cosmetic bonding and esthetic reconstruction. She is excited to provide you and your family with the latest general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry services.
Dr. Dodig lives in West University and enjoys a great reputation stemming from her many years of practice in Houston. Dr. Dodig and her husband relish time spent together doting upon their adorable little girls, one who goes to school at nearby West U Elementary. In her free time, Dr. Dodig enjoys being outdoors, hiking and yoga.
Our Registered Dental Hygienist Corinne has been practicing for more than 15 years. Originally from Michigan, she moved to Texas in 2001 after living in South Dakota for 10 years. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at the North Dakota State College of Science. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Hygiene Society, Bellaire Periodontics Dental Hygiene Study Club and the American Dental Hygiene Association.
Susan is our Registered Dental Assistant. She received her dental education from Astrodome Dental Branch in 2003. Susan has continued to increase her dental knowledge each year, taking continuing education courses. Susan is fluent in Spanish, which has been a great addition to the practice for our Spanish speaking patients. She continues to expand her skills by learning and implementing new techniques to provide care to patients. She enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter Angelina. Her hobbies are playing soccer, volleyball, traveling and visiting family in her home country of Peru.
Patty began working at West U Dental Smiles 5 years ago. Throughout her years of working as a dental assistant, she has gained knowledge of many areas of the practice. Her primary goal has been scheduling hygiene visits, verifying insurances, and helping patients obtain the best benefits from their insurance company. Patty also shares the office administration duties with her co-worker Diana Cardona. She truly enjoys her job and that can easily be proven by her performance. Patty's hobbies are running, spinning, and shopping. She is married with two kids, an 18 year old who plays baseball and a 14 year old who loves to dance. She loves watching them perform. She also enjoys taking trips with her husband and watching the Texans play. They love to drive to Destin, FL in the summer and enjoy the white sand beaches.
Catherine, our Registered Dental Hygienist, has been practicing for nearly 8 years. She takes pride in educating our patients about the importance of oral hygiene. She also finds value in nutrition and fitness. Originally from South Carolina, she and her husband, Chris, moved to Houston early last year. On her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband exploring Houston and checking out different music venues. She is a BMW enthusiast who loves to travel and visit with family and friends. She loves her German Shepherd and 2 cats, which she treats as family members.
