Dr. Self attended the University of Central Arkansas, earning a degree in Finance in 1991. He was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1998. In June of 1996, he managed to convince Deana Coleman to become his bride, one of his greatest accomplishments.

In September of 1999, Dr. Self and his wife made Dyersburg, TN their new home, after they purchased the former practice of Dr. William F. Pierce. Since that time, Dr. Self has been very active in organized dentistry, their church and the community. He is particularly proud of his work as a member of the Dyersburg City School Board of Directors where he has served since 2009, and as an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 87 since 2010. Dr. Self and Deana have 4 boys and cant seem to keep enough food in the house. Ever. Their family has been members of Dyersburg First United Methodist Church since 1999, and also attends the First Assembly of Ole Miss whenever possible.

Stephanie began her dental career as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2014 and became a member of our team in 2019. In 2015, she completed additional training at Concord Career College in Memphis, receiving her Expanded Function Certification. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She attends Ripley Church of Christ.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Business Management in 2016, Regan joined the WTDG team. As a Registered Dental Assistant, she wears many hats within our practice and seems to have truly found her calling. She is a native of Dyersburg and in her spare time enjoys exercising and spoiling her dog, Livee. Regan attends First Baptist Church of Dyersburg,

Sharon joined West Tennessee Dental Group in 2019 and works in our front office as a Business Assistant. Since 1992, Sharon has held various positions, all within the healthcare field, where her gift of encouragement is a blessing. She and her husband, Kevin, have been married since 1987 and have three sons, Corey, Dustin and Tucker, who all live in Dyersburg with their families. Sharon enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren and attending Church Grove Baptist Church in Newbern.

Tiffany is the most recent addition to our hygiene team, joining WTDG in 2019 after graduating from UT Health Science Center in Memphis with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2018. Tiffany actually grew up in our practice as her mother, Shawn, was a team member for several years. She enjoys fitness, gardening and loving on her nephews. Tiffany attends Parr Avenue Church of Christ.

Leigh-Anne joined our team in 2019 and has served as a Business Assistant since that time, successfully wearing many hats. Though she is relatively new to dentistry, she has been employed in the healthcare field since 2001. She and her husband, Casey, have been married since 2001 and have two sons, Bryce and Easton. All of their free time is spent at the lake or at the ball field.

Lori joined our team in January 2019 as our Practice Manager of Operations. She began her dental career in Memphis in 1985 as a dental assistant and later transitioned to the role of Business Assistant. In 2016, she was promoted to the role of Practice Manager, which seems to fit like a glove. She and her husband live in Atoka, TN and are active members of Unity Baptist Church in Millington. Lori enjoys spending time with her family which includes two adult sons and a granddaughter who affectionately refers to Lori as Lolly. She also enjoys renovating her home, gardening, crafts, and evenings with friends.

Colleen has been a Registered Dental Assistant and head of sterilization with our team since 2018. She enjoys keeping our office clean and organized and is extremely good at her job. When she is not working, she spends her free time gardening, working on her family's farm or spending time with her eleven nieces and nephews. She and her husband, Joseph, have been married since 2016 and attend Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dyersburg.

Tammy graduated from UT Health Science Center in Memphis with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2001 after beginning her career in dentistry in 1994. She joined our team in 2008 and has become a very vital member of our hygiene department. She and her husband, Brad, have been married since 1999 and have three children that keep them very busy. Their family attends Newbern First Baptist Church.

In 1981, Janice graduated from UT Health Science Center in Memphis with a degree in Dental Hygiene and joined WTDG in 2006. She married her husband, Eddie, in 1981 and they have two daughters, Megan, who lives in Dyersburg, and Mallory, who lives in Nashville. Most of Janice's spare time is spent spoiling her grandson, Cooper. She and Eddie are members of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Julie is our Insurance and Collections Coordinator and has worked in various capacities in the dental field since 1998. We were very blessed when she joined West Tennessee Dental Group in 2006. She and her husband, Kevin, are natives of Dyersburg and have one daughter, Kate. Kate and her husband, Chris, live in Knoxville with their son Tyler. For obvious reasons, Julie enjoys traveling to Knoxville where she thrives at spoiling her grandson. Julie and Kevin are active members of First Baptist Church in Newbern.

Sonja's dental career began in 1984 and she has held the position of Registered Dental Assistant since 1986. We were very pleased when she joined our team in 2005. She is a life-long resident of Ripley, TN, where she resides near her two children and four grandchildren. When not working, Sonja focuses 100% of her energy into spoiling each of her grandchildren. She attends Grace Bible Baptist Church in Ripley.

Carrie is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been a vital part of our team since 2000. Having started her dental career in 1994 as a Dental Assistant, she attended UT Health Science Center in Memphis where she earned her bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene in 2001. She has one son, two daughters and twin granddaughters, all who keep her very busy.
