Jessica Troutman is a very rude person and decides to be rude to people on fb and cuss them. Wouldn't recommend this place because of her!!!!

I was a bit hesitant about my visit due to the low rating this practice has. With my insurance I have limited options. I was SO pleasantly surprised! From the woman making my appointment, to the reception desk when I arrived, to the hygienist and Dr. Cho, I was delighted. Not something one usually says regarding a dentist office visit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Kathy, who helped me with scheduling future appointments was an absolute gem! Give this office a chance. I was quite impressed.

As a patient with high anxiety I have to say that having Dr. Ho remove a tooth with constant compassion it's giving me a whole new outlook I'm going to the dentist!

I've been going to the West Shore Family Dentistry for the past 3 years and I'm surprised to see some bad reviews, my son and I have nothing but good experience with doctors and staff

I am a patient that pays cash for all the work they do and just like every other person that comes here I expect respect. I don't get that though when I deal with the rude blonde lady in the front office. I have an appointment Friday and it will be my last. Some of the doctors here are great but clearly they don't care about getting rid of the problematic staff so I will just not return.

I went through 5 visits to get dentures, I explained before they even got started that I have a small mouth and never had big teeth. On my last visit I was so excited because I was going to go home with my dentures and the teeth were so big I just kept gagging! I was told they made them as small as they could and they made the pink part of my dentures smaller but what they were not understanding was the teeth themselves were way to big!, They said you just have to wear them to get used to them. I went home and got laughed at because the front teeth stuck out over my top lip. I was so embarrassed to say the least. I called my insurance company to see what could be done and they said if they don't redue them to ask to give them back and have them do a retraction because I only get one pair of dentures a life time so I'm praying that on Monday when I go back they can send them out to have smaller teeth put in and take the huge ones out. So I'm walking around with no teeth and I'm devastated to say the least. I almost wish they would just take them back so I can go to a different dentist. I did wear the tops for a week but everyone said I looked ridiculous . They are so ugly I just want to cry

Horrible. Called them in June for a broken filling that they did initially and can't get me in until SEPTEMBER. Now its August and my tooth pain is unbearable, and they still can't get me in until September. Can't refer me anywhere else but to themselves. I would go anywhere else but there because they truly do not care. Shut the whole place down.

I had to change dentists because my insurance changed. There weren't many options so I switched to this practice. I was very nervous with this change simply because I had been with my previous dentist for years. I had a great experience here. The reception staff was professional and friendly. The hygienist was also and reviewed my insurance prior to the cleaning. She was very efficient and I was comfortable the whole time The dentist was great. Very friendly.

I would give this place a zero if possible. I had gone to the same dentist my entire life only came here bc insurance changed. Tried to tell me my veneers needed replaced on my front teeth. It's 4 teeth in the front. Nothing is wrong with them. It's all a money racket. The hygienist was so rough on my teeth she chipped several of them. I have lost a ton of enamel and never had so much discoloration since coming to this office. Steer clear! Now I have to find a place elsewhere to have all the damage they did repaired. Aweful!

I wish I could give zero stars. Let's start off with when I was young. I've gone to WSFD my entire life and it's been nothing but horrible experiences but not many places take my insurance. When I was little they had a hygienist they gave me every time I went in, and I was terrified to go to the dentist because she would hurt me, digging in my gums ROUGH like I was an adult when I was five, FIVE YEARS OLD. My mom had to tell her off because she wouldn't listen to me. Let's fast forward to my teenage/adult years - my wisdom teeth are coming through, but they've bothered me, and Dr. G continuously INSISTED I didn't need them out and they'd be a set of molars. That "set of molars" half grew and my one is currently infected. I had an appt today for 9am and my 3 month old son kept me awake until 6am so I wasn't staying awake to cancel like I usually do...they call me and tell me I missed 3 appointments and that I need to pay for them WHEN I NEVER MISSED ANY WITHOUT CALLING AHEAD FIRST. Maybe it's because of the 3 accounts they had in my name for some weird reason, or how about the appointments that were most definitely scheduled that I "couldn't cancel because they didn't exist". All I know is I'm not paying for a damn thing just because they're losing so many clients they need to scam their current ones so they can pay their own bills. Sorry excuse for a dentist office and sorry excuses for people. They're all rude, unprofessional, terrible with kids, and disregarding to kids and adults. If you care about your teeth and wallet, do not go here. Sincerely a girl who had nice teeth before that old cat piss smelling breath jerk ruined them because he didn't want to listen to me.

My 20 year old daughter who is a full time student and is on state medical assistance went in to have a tooth repaired. The staff did not tell her it would not be a covered service at the time of service. When she received a bill she ignored it thinking it was a mistake and the insurance just hadn't been billed yet. Finally she had to appeal the charges...which was over ($1000) with the insurance company. The dentist office told the appeal attendees that they told her it would not be covered at the time of service. They did no such thing. This office knew it wouldn't be covered and didn't offer a cash discount, or give option for a payment plan at any time!!! Then, the sent a bill and sent her to their collections department in the same month!!! 21 days!!! I would NOT recommend this office to a soul. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Dr. Cho and his assistants were the best! made me comfortable, joked around, and just an overall good environment for someone who hates dentist trips

My daughter and I have/had been patients here for 2 years, but this most recent visit will be my last. We were the first appointment of the day, and had to wait 15 minutes or so to be seen (not my complaint). While waiting, I heard the reception staff be extremely rude to other patients entering, as they CONSISTENTLY are. How can one be so miserable so early in the morning? Everyday? Not even a hello or smile, just snippy all the time. Every time I have visited this office or called the reception staff, they are unnecessarily rude and curt to everyone they deal with. I just don't understand it. Dr. Cho's dental hygienist has always been very nice and professional, but it's not worth dealing with the receptionists beforehand. I'll find a provider elsewhere.

I would give 0, waited on the call more then 20 minutes and the lady was extremely rude. She picked up the phone and said "west shore family dentistry, you have to hold" and put me back on hold, not even a please or may you hold. Never coming here again.
