We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Here at West Seattle Smile Co., we believe in treating everyone that walks through our door like family. We love getting to know our patients and being involved in their lives. Being able to help people achieve a smile they are confident with and cant wait to show off makes it all worth it! Our philosophy is to treat peoples teeth as they relate to the whole body. Not only are we looking for and treating disease in teeth, but we also look for joint and muscle pathology, sinus issues, head, neck, and throat cancers, airway issues, among others. We believe every patient deserves a top quality dentist, and we have two amazing dentists that are highly trained in the latest techniques and technologies to provide you with the highest quality dental work. We highly value educating our patients and giving them all of the information that they need to come to an informed decision. Our team may provide recommendations, but we ultimately want our patients to make the final decision on any treatment choices. Whatever you decide, we will support your decision every step of the way!
Dr. Geoff grew up in Olympia, WA and decided to pursue dentistry when he job-shadowed his childhood dentist. He was inspired by his ability to alleviate pain and build confidence by improving smiles. He fulfilled his lifelong dream by earning his D.D.S. at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he met Dr. Nicole.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, and Seattle King County Dental Association. A self-proclaimed dental nerd, Dr. Geoff is extremely passionate about dentistry and loves building lifelong relationships with his patients while helping them achieve the healthy smile they can be proud of.
He is a very active person and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his wife. He loves camping, mountaineering, kayaking, and more. Dr. Geoff and Dr. Nicole have summited 4 of the 5 Washington volcanoes and look forward to completing Glacier Peak in the upcoming year. He is also a huge sports fan and has enjoyed following the Seahawks and Mariners for as long as he can remember.
Dr. Niki grew up in Billings, MT and is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where she met Dr. Geoff. She became inspired to pursue dentistry when on a service trip to provide free dental treatment to those in need. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Association, and strives to stay up to date with the latest techniques and technology in the world of dentistry.
In her free time, Niki enjoys backpacking, mountaineering, camping, travelling, scuba diving, being a foodie and wine enthusiast, and spending time with her husband. She enjoys all aspects of comprehensive dental care and loves building strong relationships with her patients and the surrounding community.

Had to change appointment day and time. The person I spoke with made every effort to accommodate my request. Teeth were cleaned and polished right on time and looked and felt great.

Going to West Seattle Smile Co. is like going to visit family. The whole team is warm and welcoming. Angela, the hygienist does a very thorough cleaning. She definitely knows what she is doing. You can tell she loves what she does! I even get to listen to whatever music I want. Dr. Niki is gentle and kind. She knows how to make your smile look natural and youthful! :)

Be careful with this dentist. I was misquoted for a procedure, and not just a little amount it was over $1000.00 mistake. Guess who had to pay for it. If I would have known I would if deferred or gone some where else. Instead of admitting their mistake and eating the cost they want me to pay for it. So much for debt relief. So many other dentists in the area I would consider choosing a different one.

I've been going to Dr. Geoff and wife Dr. Niki Johnston and Team since they took over and launched their practice in this location 4 years ago. The entire team is knowledgeable, friendly, and always staying current with technology, and deliver results. They have partnerships with local dental specialists that are equally awesome. They communicate well - via text message, email, phone, even a new app! My insurance is no longer in network, but they did everything they could to accommodate, help me understand out of pocket costs, deal with insurance company. I'll keep going because they keep raising the bar and focusing on the customer. Highly recommend.

Dr. Niki was wonderful! She was so nimble and quick! The injection didn't hurt at all. She was so quick we were able to get an extra restoration done on the other side of my mouth! That saved me a visit! I feel so blessed to have found such a trustworthy and professional dentist. The office staff were friendly and professional. And the facility was well curated and state of the art. I cannot wait to recommend West Seattle Smile Co to all my friends and family. Never been this excited to find a new dentist! Comfortable, efficient cleaning and x-rays. Really expert, hi-tech and down to earth dentistry, with no pressure for unnecessary procedures. Both dentists help me find the most effective and conservative approach to my dental care. I love that each room allows you to choose your own music, too.

Very nice visit with no wait, got me in right on time! Everyone is so nice there and they are very thorough while trying to get you in quickly and out as soon as possible. The facility is super clean and employees very conscious of all the latest health protocols. The work went quickly and they were very attentive the entire time. Drs. Johnston do a great job!

Texted me on my birthday (a Sunday) to collect a $70 overdue invoice. How classy. I admit I owed them the money, I hadn't paid because despite them already collecting over $80 on my initial visit and collecting hundreds from my insurance, I was working with my insurance to understand why this place wanted an additional $70 for a new patient visit. My previous dentist, and most other's I've been to haven't charged this much for a new patient exam, in fact my last one charged less than I paid out of pocket here for people without insurance. Maybe it's the tote bags?

I cannot say enough how much I appreciate Dr Geoffrey and the team at West Seattle Smile Co. I'm sure I'm not alone to say I don't love having cavities filled or my teeth cleaned, but this is the best experience I've ever had with a dentist and team. Dr. Geoffrey is super easy to chat with about your concerns and my hygienist Brianna is gentle and attentive but thorough. The whole team makes you feel comfortable and cared for. I'm a huge fan of this team! Dare I say... I am looking forward to my next cleaning!
