Your Prosper family dentist, Dr. Chen loves learning about patients lives and health goals. Its her goal to ensure each patient is not only satisfied with their oral health, but in love with their smile.
Dr. Chen attended the University of Buffalo, receiving an undergraduate degree in Biological Science before continuing on at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicines. Afterwards, she worked in New York City for a few years before relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
With a lifelong passion for learning, Dr. Chen prioritizes continuing education and training to bring the very best care possible to our patients. Her special certifications for dental implants, Invisalign, and occlusion care help our team serve more patients with a diverse dental health issues.
Dr. Chens focus on helping patients extends not only to current Prosper patients: She served with Remote Area Medical for a year while in dental school. This large non-profit provides mobile medical units and medical professionals to areas of need, offering free medical examinations and treatment.
After graduating from high school, she attended the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She next attended Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, from which she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, finishing third in her class.
To further her education and clinical experience in an advanced setting, Dr. Pinzon then moved to San Antonio and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During her residency, Dr. Pinzon gained extensive knowledge in dentistry while expanding her clinical skills in all areas of cosmetic, general, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Pinzon is also trained and experienced in providing implant dentistry and performing oral surgery procedures.

Dr. Chen, Dr. P, Beth, Kim, Sara and the whole team are AMAZING. I had to have two extractions and Dr. P and Kim were great, everything went very smoothly and I was out quickly. Today we had an emergency and Dr. Chen fit us in and Dr. P again did great work and care for Papa. Beth is SUPERB when it comes to cleaning teeth, she takes her time and puts a lot of pride in her work. All the folks here are very kind and caring. West Prosper Family Dental is a blessing for our entire family. Sincerely, Scott, Rashmi, Papa and Mom

From Ms Sana, Elizabeth and Dr. P, they are all very professional, courteous, kind, above and beyond. Their billing Department gave me an astronomical amount for bonding of 5 teeth compared with the dentist in New York. In New York they quoted 30 dollars per tooth after insurance, where as in West Prosper family dental, they want to charge 80 dollars per tooth (average) after insurance.,which is a lot for seniors collecting social security. Hope they make it affordable for seniors. Thanks.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The staff at this facility was top drawer from the moment I walked in until I left! I (like most people) dread going to the dentist. This office made it bearable, and dare I say, enjoyable!! I not only get my work done here but have signed up my whole family! From the cleanliness of the facility, to the tv playing anything you want. From the jovial staff, to the down to earth explanations of benefits and diagnosis. THANK YOU!!! **update- Day 2 of going for cleaning. Just as awesome as day one, if not better! This place has it dialed in on service and attitude! Top notch staff and you can tell it is how they always are! Real, polite, courteous, welcoming! ***update 6-9-22*** Just had zoom whitening! OMG, SO IMPRESSED!! Clean and friendly staff and MDs. Located near 7/11 and Domino pizza. The office is simple, clean, and not clustered. Dr. Chen is very gentle, informative, and sweet and so is her co-MD. Her staff is well trained in what they're doing and approachable. They are very sweet and take good care of you. Kids friendly. Their texting phone system is convenient. They worked with most insurance companies. Would definitely recommend this office.

I took my 3 kids here for a check up and the doctors and staff were so friendly and courteous. They showed a lot of patience with my difficult 6 year old, especially when he needed to get his cavities filled. I am also a patient there now and recommend their practice to anyone looking for a good family dentistry.

The staff and provider is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. I was and am always afraid of dental offices but something about this place gives you "all the positive feels vibe" which was surprisingly pleasant. Looking forward to future visits with these amazing people.
