Dr. McKennon grew up in the Spokane area, attending Lewis and Clark High School. He attended Eastern Washington University for his undergraduate studies then Louisiana State University for his dental school studies. He has been in practice since 2003.

Dr. McKennon and his wife Sara have 3 children, Gracie and twin boys Liam and Finley. He enjoys spending time with his young family and has a passion for barbecuing, fly-fishing, and camping. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and Spokane District Dental Society.

Emily started with us in September of 2020 and is the Office Manager of our new West Plains Dental. Previously working as a DA instructor, she has over eight years of experience in the dental field. When asked what her favorite part about her job is she said, That everyone working here has one common goal: giving all our patients the best possible dental care. When shes not managing the office, she manages a household full of boys, with her two young children and her husband.

Staci is a Dental Hygienist and has been a part of the West Plains Dental team for more than three years. When asked what her favorite part of her job is she said, When people tell me they actually floss! She has two boys, 1 dog, a loving husband, and is a lover of anything vintage.

Kayla has been a part of the West Plains Dental team for over two years! She is a registered DA and is our Patient Coordinator. Her favorite part of her job is caring for patients. It is rewarding to be able to help anxious patients begin to trust and enjoy going to the dentist. The dentists and their team here are the most caring, knowledgeable, and honest group of people I have ever met, she says. When shes not coordinating patients, shes cooking, baking, or spending time outdoors with her two children and her blue healer, Maci.

Stacey is a Dental Assistant and has been a part of the West Plains Dental team for over three years. When asked what her favorite part of her job is she said, Meeting people - Im a people-person, so I love getting to know our patients. Staci has five cats (aka her children), enjoys arts & crafts, and is the teams jester, giving us plenty of laughs throughout the day.

Jeri started with us in September 2020 and is a Dental Assistant at our new location! Though born in St Louis, she was raised in Medical Lake and attended Carrington College, so shes well rooted in the area. Jeri has two cats, one dog, and a husband of ten years. She enjoys hiking, gardening, crafting, puzzles, movies, and board games. If I had one piece of advice, it would be to be live every day like its your last and never to take a single day for granted.
