Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I never leave reviews so this one is extra special: I absolutely love this place! They are so patient with my son who needed extensive reconstructive work after he fell and broke his front teeth! Yes, his adult teeth! They made a 12 year old boy very happy! Everyone from the front office staff, Niurka, to the dentist, Dr Hernandez, and the dental assistant, Jhon, are amazing and welcoming. They always greet us with a smile. Thank you for everything you do!

I don't usually write reviews but wanted to share my experience during my visit. Dr. Kirstie Ninan made me feel welcome and comfortable. She was very professional and courteous. Although it was a standard cleaning, I felt very at ease and would highly recommend this dentist office Doctor Kirstie Ninan as an primary dentist to anyone else.

So happy I found this place, Dr. Kirstie Ninan was absolutely fantastic. Loved her professionalism and patience with me. I had a lot of questions in regards to my wisdoms teeth to which she was theral and explained the process. Had a cleaning today and it was gental, smooth and just great work. So excited I found my new dentist office who care for their patients for once .:)

Honestly after hating the idea of going to the dentist for such a long time, Dr. Ninan made it an extremely pleasurable and comfortable experience. She didn't overcharge me or make me do anything that I really didn't need. Def coming back to start my Invisalign plan soon! Front office was a joy to be around! Can't wait to come back!

Dr. Kirstie Ninan was extremely informative and did not hesitate to provide me with detailed answers to my questions. I recently had two wisdom teeth removed at this office and Dr. Kirstie Ninan was extremely gentle and did not cause any unnecessary pain or discomfort while performing the procedure. Her experience shows and her personality makes you feel as if you are family. The facility is extremely clean and organize and the staff are very attentive and kind. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a good dentist. I will be a patient for the long haul!

I have not been to the dentist in 3 years. If I had previous encounters with dentists as I did with Dr. Ninan, I would be receiving treatment every 6 months. This office was such a breath of fresh air. Amazing atmosphere from speaking with the front desk to receiving treatment from Dr. Ninan. Looking forward to more great visits!

Where to start! The staff is absolutely amazing! I love the vibe of the office everyone is so friendly, I felt so welcomed from the moment I walked in everyone greeted me right away. The doctor was super informative and throughly explained my treatment to me. As someone who's terribly afraid of the dentists they really made me feel comfortable and I'm super thankful I found my new dental home

While traveling over the holidays I had an emergency and I am so glad I found West Pines Modern Dentistry! They were able to help get me scheduled fast. Niurka, Dr.Bueno and the rest of the staff are very professional and attentive. I would love to have a location this in my hometown. Definitely recommend trying them out.

I had a great experience in this practice. Dr. Bueno and Niurka were a great Team! They worked together to give me the best clinical and financial options. They always kept my health and personal finances a priority. Dr. Bueno is extremely knowledgeable and took her time to educated me on everything I needed clinically. Niurka was extremely friendly and helped me get the best out of my insurance and set me up with a payment plan that allowed me to make monthly payments that for within my budget.

Not happy ! Brought our daughter for cleaning which should be anything between 90 and 120 usd . She was told she has gingivitis and needed extra laser treatment for 95 usd extra . It turns out the bill is over 360 usd because the prices we were given only apply if you have a dental plan with them (cost of extra 120 usd ) . Total lack of transparency. Then she is told she has an inlay and treatment will be additional 360 usd, if she has the dental plan . Right now we are not sure we believe she has an inlay just because we feel we are being mislead from the get go . If we had been told the cleaning alone was 240 usd ... we would not be here . Just make sure you ask for the costs twice in advance . Edit : While the other provided services are invoiced , the "dental plan" payment of 119 usd does not get invoiced and only a manual receipt is provided. I do not think this is normal or appropriate and seems very shady ! To me it smells like unreported cash under the table .

My 10 year crown accidentally came out one evening, and within hours the next day I was in the chair. They did an absolute fabulous job as they found out why the old crown had come out (due to tooth decay under the crown). Before the day was over I had received the red carpet treatment this office is known for and a new crown had already been produced and installed. The friendliness, professionalism and personal service I received was second to none. On top of it a same day crown was produced in house and perfectly placed in my mouth for a very competitive price. Thank you for being the best dentist office in Pembroke Pines.

I'm very disappointed to report that I had a poor experience. I arrived on time for my first appointment as a new patient to see Dr Arthur Shinder...after waiting an hour in the reception, I was told by Ezekiel (receptionist) that the doctor was still with another patient and they would get an assistant to see me shortly instead. I understand that sometimes things happen and I don't mind waiting 10-15 mins ... but a full hour?! I had to pay for child care for this appointment and they didn't have the courtesy to tell me they were behind over an hour to give me the choice of rescheduling. After an hour, I just left, as I had no confidence in this place. How can they care about my health if they just forget about me in the reception? Honesty and simple courtesy of respect is all I expected. Very bad first impression, I do not recommend unless you have a whole afternoon to waste waiting around.
