Dr. Daniel West is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of The American Academy of Periodontology. He is a graduate of Meharry Medical College school of dentistry, and the Medical College of Georgia for his advanced education in Periodontal surgery certificate and Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. West was born in Knoxville and grew up in Algood, Tennessee. He was a Deans List student both in College and in Dental School and, before deciding to specialize in Periodontics, he practiced General Dentistry for a year in Nashville. He now enjoys helping his patients with all aspects of complete periodontal care and implantology. With over 20 years experience, you can feel confident in Dr. West's expertise and skill in the field of Periodontics. When he is not treating patients, Dr. West enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones, trying out new restaurants, traveling, and rooting for the Tennessee Titans!

Dr. West recently performed the Crown Lengthening procedure on my front four teeth! I am beyond satisfied with my results. Everyone in the office is pleasant, professional and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Dr. West is Amazing! I have a mild case of dentalphobia that I am learning to work through. So let's just say if you are able to get me comfortable enough to even open my mouth we might make it. I was refered to West Periodontics by my Orthodontist to treat my periodontal desease before I could be cleared for braces. Dr. West perfomed a deep cleaning / scaling and gum surgery and it went GREAT! A few months of monitoring my progress I was cleared for braces. I was so happy with my experience at West Periodontics that I requested Dr. West do my extractions as well. If I have it my way, Dr. West and his AWESOME , professional and caring team will be stuck with me. I am so glad I found them. Thank you! P.S Cindy and Terrence rock

First off I hate going to the dentist, i get really bad anxiety. Dr. West and his staff were wonderful, I have nothing negative to say. They made me feel comfortable and the procedure was not bad at all. Dr. West and staff thank you again for all you do!

Dr. West did my 2 dental implants, he was really professional, as well the staff in his office. I'm very happy with the results!! Will definitely recommend to anyone of my friend and family in case they will need a dental specialist!

Great experience! The office staff was great and Doctor West took time to explain everything to me before hand and did a great job that was virtually pain free. A complete quote was provided to discuss with my insurance provider before I decided to move forward with the implant. I will definitely recommend to others.

I was very well taken care of by Dr. West and his staff. Dr. West is very personable and professional and put me very much at ease , which is no easy feat considering how anxious a person I can be. Everyone is the office was super friendly and did everything to make me feel comfortable and special. We even shared a few laughs! I honestly don't remember much of the procedure; the pain management aspect of the work was exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. West and his practice. I feel fortunate to have been referred to him.

It's always a pleasure to go to Dr. West and his staff. They are all friendly and engaging in person and on the phone. Dr. West is very down to earth and talks to me so I understand what he needs to do and why. On my last visit he and his assistant Terrence were even my backup singers on a Gladys Knight song while they were working on my mouth Everyone there always makes me feel super comfortable.

I came to Dr.West needing to get an extraction and ended up having to get a graft as well. I have been back a few times since as well to check on the healing and get the stitches removed. I had a great experience. Everyone in the office was nice and helpful and Dr. West is very engaging and made me feel very comfortable with what was happening. He went out of his way to make it a good experience and answer my questions. Would highly recommend.

I was referred to Dr West by my Dentist and I'm so happy and pleased. The staff is So Professional, Friendly, Comforting, and Caring. Dr.West is Exceptional He explained my situation throughly giving me a Great understanding about the care needed to bring restoration to my gums.
