Dr. West earned his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University (1995) and graduated cum laude with a Doctoral degree in dentistry from Southern Illinois University (1999). He received his Master of Science degree from St. Louis University School of Orthodontics (2001). Dr. West is a member of many professional organizations such as:
Dr. West and his wife, Sunni, are the proud parents of six wonderful children; Logan, Tyler, Sierra, Whitney, Macy, and Bryson. The West family enjoys the adventurous outdoor opportunities that Southern Oregon provides their family. When not treating patients you will find Dr. West at local sporting events coaching and supporting his kids and our patients.

My daughter had a smile that made her never show her teeth. She was embarrassed until Dr. West and his team changed her life by giving her the most amazing smile. This office was incredibly easy to work with always flexible with appointments and did an amazing job.

We went in for a consult! From the moment we arrived we saw my sons name on a whiteboard they were expecting him we sat down the area was clean nice comfortable couches they had fresh chocolate chip cookies water bottles the atmosphere was really nice. When we went back into the office they explained what detail what they were going to do to him the doctor came in and saw gave his suggestions. The Secretary who explained as the financial part showed us the cost and also it was very affordable the down payment was wonderful I was able to make the payment and he was able to get his braces that same day. He got a backpack full of Things he was going to need wax instructions toothbrush T-shirt is a wonderful experience we really enjoyed it and we look forward to being with Dr. West for a while

This review comes from a late 40's male who had never had braces earlier in life. I was reluctant to get braces for one primary reason - I didn't want to attend regular follow up appointments for a couple years. My work, family, church, and recreational interests are more important to me than straight teeth. During COVID, my schedule got a LOT easier, so I decided to give it a try. West Orthodontics is an efficient practice. Yes, my teeth look better and my bite if finally "right"; but I bet a lot of orthodontists can make that happen. I really appreciate efficiency. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time with each appointment. I never spent more than a few minutes in the waiting room. Perhaps they sometimes get behind on the schedule, but I never saw it. Dr West told me at the initial consult that it would be ~18 months of treatment, which was spot on. Not weird sitting in an office with a bunch of teens - way less awkward than I expected. And I like Taylor Swift so the playlist on the office sound system was FIRE. I'm now 2 months post-braces and no regrets.

Our 9 year old needed braces in order for his adult teeth to fit. I am so grateful that we found this place...We are from the coast and gladly drive the 4 hours to West Orthodontics because the staff has been amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and eased his little anxious mind. We are excited and thankful for this journey to a beautiful full mouth smile.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! They really make you feel welcome. My son really likes it here! Also, they are the most affordable place for braces in the valley! Without their affordability we would have not been able to get my son his braces. So far everything has been a win win with them. Highly recommend!

I am so thankful for their efficient and friendly staff who made sure all my questions were answered and that my experience of getting braces at a later age was very positive. I really appreciated that I was informed about each step of the process as it was happening and afterwards was given solid education in how to keep my teeth and braces in great shape. All in all it couldn't have been a better experience.
