Dr. Kristine S. West graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis in 1988. After graduation, she moved to Chicago, where she attended Northwestern University Dental School, graduating first in her class. During dental school, Dr. West was honored to receive the Alpha Omega Scholar Award, the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, and the Delta Sigma Delta Achievement Award. She then went on to complete her orthodontic specialty training and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics at the top-ranked University of Michigan Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Her published masters thesis focused on long-term facial growth into adulthood.

When I think about someone with braces on their teeth, I think about a 12-year-old kid, not a 60-year-old man! Well, that's the path I just completed. I had terrible teeth my whole life and had a very guarded, no teeth smile. This all changed when my oldest daughter became a dentist. Nothing but the best for me, crowns, implants, and braces! She took care of the cavities and crowns, then she sent me to the finest periodontist and orthodontist around. After the implants were completed, My Orthodontist was Kristine West from West Orthodontics in DeWitt, MI. From day one I was treated like all her patients are . . . like I was the most important person in the building. During my first visit, I found that Dr. West had a passion for giving people a beautiful smile. This was her goal and she worked very hard to get me there, even when my teeth did not want to cooperate. Dr. West initially started with Invisalign, but my bottom teeth were really crooked and didn't respond so she went with a hybrid solution with braces on the bottom. West Orthodontics has an amazing staff who is friendly and welcoming. Karly meets me with a smile and works to get me appointments that work best for my schedule. Mandy is gentle with the scans, x-rays, and band applications. Now, I've had to learn how to smile again! I'm so proud of how my smile looks now, I'm always grinning from ear to ear thanks to Dr. West and her staff!

Y'all. If I could give Dr. West and Team a higher review I would. (And yes, I will be posing this on multiple pages) Moral of the story (before the lengthy review): If you want/need braces, Dr. West Orthodontics is the place to go. She's amazing clinically. It's affordable (trust me, I work with a ton of orthodontics practices!), they have this great software to help you choose your OWN payment plan - when have you ever gone to a doctor and gotten to choose how you're going to pay/what works best with your own budget??? (They also have an adorable practice mascot, Tucker!) OK, onto the rest. Like I mentioned, I work in the ortho industry (not within an office) and know many other practices in my and the surrounding area. I drive 1.5 hours to visit the office because the office is always fun, inviting and informative. Dr. West is great at what she does! I'm a 33 year old female who has had braces previously (ALWAYS WEAR YOUR RETAINER!) my teeth weren't even *that* bad but when you're looking at yourself 24/7 on a computer screen or even pictures you yourself notice little things that you wish you could change. I was nervous about getting my Invisalign as I thought 'everyone was going to notice!' but they were amazing!! Dr. West quoted my treatment time, I followed the compliance rules and my treatment was true to time! 8 months was nothing! My smile is bigger, my teeth / bite are way more aligned and even with the slightest change to my teeth, I feel more confident than ever. I 100% recommend Dr. West & Team regardless of age, profession or any other qualms you may have. You will not be disappointed! *Pictures below Pink: With Invisalign On (can't even tell!) Dr. West and all the staff are fabulous here!! The office is friendly and comfortable. During each visit I got top notch care with good communication and thorough checkups, and the doctor and staff truly cared about MY happiness with my how my smile looked, which made me feel good about the process! They were patient in communicating with me on all my requests and questions, and kept aiming to achieve what I wanted. I'm now very happy with my smile! Dr. West is a very talented & caring orthodontist that will aim to get you the smile you want! Highly recommend for everyone!!

My family moved to DeWitt in the winter of 2019. Both of my kids had braces at that time and were transferring their service from Alabama to Dr. West. From the moment we arrived, we knew that Dr. West's office was better than any other orthodontist we had seen before. From top to bottom, we could not complain about a single thing. Everyone at this office treated my kids like they were royalty. If you are searching for an orthodontist who truly cares for you, you have reached the right place.

I love this office so much. Everyone in the office is so pleasant, caring, knowledgeable and professional. They make you feel at home. They treat you like family. They are always smiling! Every time I was back home from the office, my wife knew that because of my BIG SMILE. I transferred to the office form overseas from two different offices, but I never had my teeth done that well. Dr. West and her entire staff are exceptional! Dr. West graduated form a prestigious university (top 10) best in this practice with great experience. This is very important in choosing an office that very few people think about. You will know that she is the best orthodontist (I am sure no one can provide you with better quality) at least in the city when you visit the office. The office is so beautiful and super clean, and it has high tech equipment. Also, the payment plan here is easy, flexible, and affordable not like other offices. This is not enough to say, and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars with adding kisses. I will miss everyone here. I would highly recommend Dr. West's office to anyone.

Dr. West and her staff are amazing! I completed my Invisalign treatment about 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with my results! All the girls that works there are friendly my daughter loves going in there she feels comfortable today doctor West told her that her tooth had to come out and when we got into the car she came back inside and went to the restroom to pull it out

Every staff member has been so kind, friendly & supportive with me since the first time I walked into their office.
