Dr. Schrader grew up in Clinton, Mississippi prior to attending undergraduate school at Wake Forest University. While enrolled, he was awarded a research fellowship grant with the Welker Group and was published in the Journal of Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry for cancer therapy research. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2005 after receiving the Blackbyrd Scholarship for possessing the 2nd highest overall grade point average for a Chemistry major.
Following undergraduate school Dr. Schrader enrolled at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where he spent his summers treating emergency patients in the Oral Diagnosis Clinic. Upon earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009, Dr. Schrader completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. During this residency, Dr. Schrader enhanced his skills in cosmetic dentistry, dental implant placement, TMJ and sleep apnea therapies, and gained certification in Invisalign. Comprehensive in nature, the AEGD residency program afforded him the opportunity to work one on one with various dental specialists (Oral Surgeons, Endodontists, Periodontists, and Orthodontists) as they provided care for veterans. Utilizing this training, Dr. Schrader has expanded his skill set in root canals, extractions, full mouth rehabilitation, and other complex dental therapies so as to limit the need of referring patients out of the practice.
Dr. Schrader is married to Dr. Brooke Weber Schrader, a pediatric dentist and native of Mobile. They have two imaginative girls and an adventurous boy who enjoy chasing and tormenting their yellow lab, Josie. Outside of the office, Dr. Schrader enjoys traveling, cooking, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Brookes new practice will be located on Cottage Hill Road, next door to West Mobile Dental Care, which is her husbands practice. The offices will have separate waiting rooms, check in/check out areas, and treatment spaces but will share a few common spaces such as the laundry room and staff lounge. Dr. Brookes office will have three hygiene chairs and two private rooms for procedures. She is looking forward to having a small space where she and her staff can provide individualized, loving care. While her practice is being built, Dr. Brooke is continuing to treat patients at her husbands office.
While Dr. Brooke is able to perform traditional dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, Dr. Brooke takes pride in trying to provide minimally invasive dental care to children. Newer techniques have proven very effective in pediatric dentistry that allow treatment without having to numb and cut on the tooth. These conservative techniques allow for easier, less involved treatment visits and therefore, greater patient and parent satisfaction.
Dr. Brooke and her husband have 3 kids that are ages 8, 7, and 4. Their family enjoys cooking, making lots of messes with arts and crafts projects, riding bikes, movie nights at home, and singing loudly.

This place and the Dr. And staff are truly amazing. The level of care and effort that they gave my child was far what I was expecting. Bothe of his biggest fear (needles and drills) were not even an issue. I highly recommend this denatl facility to any parent with children who have fears.

I love Dr. Schrader! She is amazing and I love how she explains everything to each child in detail. Her staff is sweet and friendly. The best Pediatric dentist in Mobile.

Dr. Brooke is by far the best children's dentist I have taken my kids too. She is super and patient with them, and very gentle. Her husband on the adult side is also very good as well, he done all my dental at a very fair price since I had no insurance. He's super nice as well. 10/10 def recommend this place for your dental needs of children and adults.

I have always been super anxious at the dentist. Dr. Shrader and the team at West Mobile Dental Care are amazing! I needed an emergency filling in my front tooth and they got me in the same day!! They made sure I didn't feel a thing and everyone was so nice! The next week I went in and had some X-rays and received a proposed treatment plan the same day! I have some problems going on with several teeth and I am so glad to finally be getting this taking care of with little no anxiety thanks to the amazing way these guys take care of their patients!

AMAZING!!!! I never really cared much for a dentist, but Dr Shrader. and his staff., I can not say enough about, I am truly amazed and Blessed to have found this office, i can't recall ,any staff being in the medical field or in a professional setting , treat me, or anyone that walked in the front door, so kindly, so respectful, a staff that actually cares!!!! Wow back up ,a staff that actually cares about you has a patient, i know right , so unheard of today, but not at this office. From the moment i walked in the door till I walked out the door, my comfort and the procedures I was having done was their number one priority, keeping me informed on every step, on what to expect, this review is coming from a man who was scared of dentist, but I can't wait to go back and get my teeth worked on some more, i will fly or drive wherever i'm at in the Country to continue letting DR. Shrader and his staff work on my smile. i want to thank all of you at West Mobile Dental Care for making my visit so comfortable and pain free, and a special thanks to the Docs dental assistant who i feel went out of her way to put me at ease. Went to this Office for the first time last year. They cleaned my teeth and fixed a broken front tooth. They were professional and friendly my tooth looks great. I recommend them and will be going back. Thanks Guys!

Didn't like the approach. I had called in for scheduling an appointment. They collected a bunch of information like name, dob and phone number and they said the appointment desk will call back later for scheduling. Why do you collect all this information when you are going to schedule it later. Is the name and phone number not enough?

Called with tooth pain and not only did they see me that day, they found a chipped tooth and cavity and fixed it that same day!! The staff cannot be beat! They remember your name and it feels like family . Highly recommend !!!
