Dr. Steven Pierson spent years growing up in Sierra Leone, West Africa where his parents were medical missionaries. He graduated with honors from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelors degree in biology. Dr. Pierson then earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry and has been serving your friends and neighbors in the Miami Valley since 2007. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Western Ohio Dental Society, and the Christian Dental Society. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Cassidy is native of the Miami valley, graduating from Troy High School and Sinclair Community College. She holds dental Licenses in the following areas: Radiology, Sealants, Coronal Polishing and Expanded Function Dental Assisting (EFDA). Cassidy enjoys helping to rebuild smiles as well as farming with her husband, two sons and two dogs.
Jen resides in West Milton with her spouse, Mike, and 4-legged fur baby. She has two grown children. She loves spending time with her family, friends or reading a good book snuggled up with a warm cup of coffee. Jen has been in dentistry for 17 years! She loves helping patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.
Cali is a Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Function Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Hygienist receiving her degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She has been in dentistry since 2006. She is from Tipp City and currently lives in Casstown. Her favorite part about dentistry is educating patients about all of their dental needs/questions and developing long lasting relationships. In her free time, Cali and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to concerts, watching sports, and playing with her Black Lab, Maverick, and German Shepherd, Ace.
Kristin grew up and graduated from Versailles where she resides today. In 2008, she began her career as a dental assistant and later obtained a degree in dental hygiene from Rhodes State College in 2012. She continued her education at Sinclair Community College where she received her certificate as an Expanded Function Auxiliary in 2013. Kristin is passionate about helping patients achiece optimal oral health and smiles through their dental hygiene and restorative needs. She enjoys helping her husband with their business K&N Design, and has two adorable sons and a dog. Kristin loves spending time with her family, volunteering at church, and relaxing.
Nikea started working in dentistry during high school. She graduated from Sinclair Community College in 2003 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Nikea is passionate about helping her patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles! She really enjoys getting to know her patients personally, catching up with them at their routine visits. She is a long term resident of Tipp City where she resides with her husband, Jeff, and three children Bo, Sloane and Dane.
Amber graduated from Edison State Community College with an Associates Degree in Medical Office Management. After spending eleven years in the medical field, she landed a position in the dental field where she has spent the last thirteen years. Amber enjoys spending time with her family, reading, yoga, taking walks and bike rides.

This is my second time going here and I just love the entire atmosphere. The ladies at the front are great, Shannon the dental assistant is amazing, and Dr Pierson is so nice. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I have not been over all pleased. I switched myself and kids to this location, because we had a new insurance plan that my previous dentist did not accept in network. When I had my initial visit and cleaning, I was in the office for a long time but the actual cleaning only lasted approximately 5 mins. I have never had a cleaning that lasted only 5 mins or so. Also the dentist checked my teeth when I first came in, not after the cleaning. Then I was charged a $30 co-pay for my insurance. I told them it didn't sound right, as I didn't think I had a co-pay. She showed me papers that she said was faxed from my insurance. I paid the $30 went home and found my plan and returned to the office within an hour of my visit. They charged me for the basic plan, when my insurance is not the basic plan. My card even says what plan it is, which is no copay. Then I asked for my $30 refund and was told that it would take two weeks because the dentist does all the refund checks for over payments. I called three weeks or so later, then I was told that the insurance has to pay out first. So I waited, and then I received a paper in the mail saying my claim was paid in full to the provider. I called and asked for my refund. I was told the claim was not paid, even though I gave them the information that it was. I haven't received a check or heard anything since. I am not pleased in general with the care that my self or my kids received. The run around with money I paid that shouldn't have been paid to begin with was the icing on the cake. To put this in perspective my appt was on 5/19/22, It is now 9/2/22 and I still have not been refunded. I plan to contact my insurance next, as calling the office appears to be getting no where.

After a very poor experience at one of those corporate dental clinics, I was looking for a dental practice that is caring and professional, where you get excellent care and actually know who is working on you. This is the place. Dr. Pierson and his staff are friendly, gracious, caring, and professional. They will take the time to explain everything and answer all of your questions carefully. I am very happy with this practice.

I have a very high anxiety for any dentist I've ever been to. I've been laughed at by staff in other dental offices, had teeth pulled that I wasn't numb for. Thats all over now that ive found West Milton Dental. From the moment I walked into West Milton Dental I felt like I was guided to their office. Every single person has been so nice and caring. They explain everything that is happening before they do it and do anything to help your visit be a good experience. I was asked for the first time ever why I have such a bad anxiety towards dentist. No one even cared enough to ask. I feel like I now my very own dentist for the first time ever, one I feel like I can continue to go to. One I won't cancel visits with because I'm to scared of what I will awful thing experience next. Everyone in our family has been there and we are all very happy with our experience at Wrst Milton Dental. I finally am going to have my smile back thanks to West Milton Dental! God definitely answered my prayers when be guided to them. I can't thank them enough! Every single person that works there is absolutely awesome! Dr Pierson is the absolute best there is, he is so nice, calm, ask me questions, set my mind at ease. Thank you again to everyone at West Milton Dental.

Very detailed in exam. Wasn't like an assembly line like a couple of other practices in the Troy area. Dr. and hygienist very personable.

This is the best place ever!! All of the staff is really nice, the practice is very clean with lots of windows and sunshine!! Wendy cleaned my teeth and was super polite and very informative about dental health.

My whole family loves going to West Milton family dental. They are great with our young children! My daughter was very curious today so they took the time to answer her questions and show her the xrays of her teeth.

I historically have hated going to the dentist but realize it is a necessary evil. When in Georgia I had a wonderful dentist that I didn't mind going to at all. Excellent service, kind, understanding, clean. When we moved here to Ohio I didn't think I'd ever find another dentist and actually played with the idea of going back to Savannah once a year to see friends, make appointments... But that didn't work out so I decided to try West Milton because I live there and it looked like a nice, clean place on the outside. Well I was right!!! It is a great place to go--professional, clean, friendly and non judgmental. I found at least two great finds in our Little West Milton so far. West Milton dental and Blue Moon ice cream at the IGA!

Just had my first visit to West Milton Family Dental. It was an excellent experience. Everyone was super nice and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Pierson is awesome. We recently moved into the area and were looking for a good dentist and we found it. Very happy.

Great pricing for work not covered by insurance! Felt comfortable throughout the whole process and I'm kind of scared about mouth work. Doctor and staff seem to care!! Highly recommend these guys and gals!
