Dr. Motson earned her DDS degree in 2005 from theUniversity of Illinois at Chicago, where she graduated #1 in her class.While there, she earned the Rice Humanitarian Award, which recognizes the student with the most exceptional knowledge, understanding, and compassion in interpersonal relationships.She was also inducted as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society for top dental students.She is a current member of theAmerican Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society.Dr. Motson completes many hours of continuing education to stay up to date on the most current techniques and technologies, including digital x-rays, spectra cavity detection devices, and laser dentistry.In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and their three small children.
Dr. Christine Uggeri is a native of the Kalamazoo area having attended Portage Northern High School. Dr. Uggeri earned a BA degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University and a BS degree in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She earned her DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (UMSOD), where she received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Implant Award. During her time in dental school, Dr. Uggeri traveled to Greece and Jamaica to broaden her perspective on dentistry throughout the world and to provide dental care for those with limited access to dental services. Dr. Uggeri is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Uggeri enjoys cycling. She has worked with many organizations including Backroads, Bike and Build, and Openroads. Her love of the sport has taken her to Italy, biking across the United States, and teaching bicycle mechanic skills to the Kalamazoo area youth. Dr. Uggeri also enjoys gardening and sustainability, having managed the Western Michigan University Community Garden and worked as a caretaker at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum for several years.

I had set appointment to be re-established as a patient as I had not gone to this office for awhile. I couldn't get in for 3 months after I called. I waited it out because I thought they were really nice people. Unfortunately in life we have emergencies and make mistakes. I had to move on the date of my appointment and with all of the stress of moving I forgot about my appointment. I did text them to let them know how sorry I was but that I want going to make it in. I didn't call as I had movers and chaos going on to tend to. I made a MISTAKE and if they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee than so be it BUT they won't even SEE me because of my MISTAKE. I have sent 5 customers to them lol my entire family goes there, but I can't because I'm a human being. I would think you'd get a second chance, but not here! Oh well I have amazing insurance it's not the only practice out there. It's just sad that they couldn't accept my apology and give someone a second chance. I mean moving is so stressful :(

My family has been going to West Milham Dental for years. We live that they gave several hygienists and can have both kids appointments at the same time. The staff is always friendly and punctual

I moved to portage 2 years ago and could not be happier with our choice of dental care. The office staff is very friendly and helpful I love the email and all reminders they send They ALMOST make me want a cavity to stay longer.
