Dr. Thomas is committed to providing patients with the best treatment and experience possible. He believes that clear communication and patient education are the cornerstones to a trusting and positive relationship with his patients. Dr. Thomas and his wife, Linnaea, have three young children. He enjoys playing tennis, running, skiing and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. McLaughlin has been married to his wife, Kate, since 1976. They have two grown children. He enjoys playing golf and pickleball with his family and has recently developed a passion for nature photography.

I'm a seasoned dental patient as I have had several crowns/fillings my wisdom teeth pulled and a previous root canal all at different offices and I can honestly say this past visit with Dr. McLaughlin was the best dental experience I've ever had. The staff are so friendly and so welcoming from the get go that you cant help but feel at ease immediately when you walk in. I always get so stressed out and worked up before the dentist that I get shaky and panicky and I didn't have that with this office at all after I got there. The procedure was virtually pain free and I was even laughing during the root canal- Dr. McLaughlins is the most kind hearted man and took the time to explain what he was doing during entire visit! If you have a toothache and need to be seen don't hesitate to call.

Dr. Thomas was excellent and I would give his assistant a 10! There was also a trainee who did a really good job under her guidance. I was the trainee's first patient. The front desk was very friendly and the waiting room was very comfortable. They prepared an insurance form for me to submit but be prepared to pay up front, that would be the only negative. All in all I would highly recommend.

Went in for a root canal, the staff was really nice and Dr Thomas was amazing! My experience was a 10/10. You can tell they really care. Would definitely recommend!!

I am thoroughly impressed with this office and can't say enough nice things! I am pregnant and had a root canal appt. they numbed me and I instantly felt nauseous and dizzy. I through up there for 3 hours, never got my procedure done and the dentist and the assistant never left my side even when I was probably a little hard to handle. I'll be back to get my procedure done with full confidence that they will take care of me.

So pleased with this team& their services. I have severe dental anxiety and found out the nerve in my front tooth was dead and I was referred to west mi endodontics for the root canal. I was extremely nervous and the assistant was very informative, answered every question I had, explained what was going to go on very throughly, gave me a tissue for my tears, and was so very comforting, even after the procedure she showed me the materials that they used to do the filling. The Dr performing the root canal (Dr Thomas I believe) was also amazing, he was calm, gentle and very quick. He also answered every question I had and made sure I was alright and comfortable throughout the entire process. I'm two days out from the root canal and I have had no pain residual pain whatsoever. I give them a 10/10, 5 stars absolutely you are in amazing caring hands here. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even like getting their teeth cleaned! .

Not only did they perform my first root canal flawlessly, they squeezed me in their busy schedule at very last minute. The staff was so friendly and fast. They take away all the fear of getting your teeth worked on and they make you so comfortable!

Don't ever delay having a root canal treatment if you think it will be a painful experience. Just make sure you make an appointment with Dr John Thomas. He is a very kind and skilled dentist who always has your comfort as a priority. A very pleasant staff and a relaxing atmosphere Highly recommend

I was referred to Dr. Thomas by Dr. Michael Leonard, who is also fantastic. I needed an evaluation for a root canal. When I called to schedule an appointment and they learned I was in a lot of pain, I was offered the opportunity to come to the office and be worked in. Within 15 min of my arrival, I was seen and a treatment plan established. Dr. Thomas numbed me up right away so I would not be uncomfortable any longer. I really appreciate the great service and being seen so quickly!
