Hi, my name is Janet. I joined Team Grias in 2014. I am your Patient Care Coordinator. My background is a registered dental hygienist for over 30 years. Although I spend most of my time in the front office now, I love doing hygiene on Monday nights. I have a great passion for dentistry and working with patients! More recently, I have taken on more behind the scenes responsibilities as the Administrative Support Manager. If you have any questions on your account or other concerns, please feel free to call. Outside of this beautiful office, I spend time with my husband and growing family. We love biking, boating and traveling to warm, sunny locations!
My name is Christine. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and have been here at WMDP for over two decades. My, team and patient, relationships that have developed over the years make my job very enjoyable! A major part of my job is building relationships and trust with my patients while educating and treating their dental needs. In my free time, I look for memories to be made with my husband and two adult sons. We enjoy hunting, kayaking, sports and just being together!
I am part of the dental hygienist team at West Michigan Dental Professionals. I joined Dr. Grias practice in 2005 and feel very fortunate to be part of such a caring and professional dental family. Building relationships with our patients, while helping them maintain their dental health, is not only my main objective but also gives me a great sense of pride and satisfaction. When I am not with Team Grias you can find me on the tennis court, in the gym or spending time with my husband and two adult children.
Hi, I am Kristin, one of the dental hygienists here at WMDP (also known as Tigger, when you visit me youll have to ask how I got my nickname). I am the newest addition as of the fall of 2016, and I always joke that I will be the new girl for a long time because everyone that works here stays here (some are going on 20-25 years). I think that alone speaks volumes of this office, we truly are a family and we all love our jobs, no one sees a reason to leave. I feel very blessed to have joined this wonderful team, and I could never imagine working at another office. I got my dental hygiene degree at Grand Rapids Community College, and couldnt be happier with my career choice. I chose dental hygiene because I have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients and help them to lead healthier lives. I enjoy getting to know our patients and their families and feel privileged to be a part of their lives and help them keep their smiles for a lifetime. When Im not working I enjoy spending time with my fianc Nick (we are getting married September 2018), my family, camping, fishing, gardening, and kayaking. I am an avid animal lover, and currently have a cat, and hope to expand my four-legged family soon.
Hi, I am Ashley, a Registered Dental Hygienist. I joined Team Grias in 2019. I started at WMDP by helping out with a maternity leave and then was blessed to be offered a permanent position. I am so happy to be here, and grateful to work with so many talented dental professionals! I graduated from GRCC, and I live in Rockford with my son, Carter, and our dog Bentley. When Im not working, I enjoy watching my son play sports, running, going to the gym and volunteering. I love my job and educating patients to achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. I look forward to meeting you!
Hi, I am Heidy the head dental assistant at WMDP. I am here to help patients feel more comfortable and also help with any questions or concerns while having dental procedures. I have been in the dental field for 32 years and still love my job! We have a great team and we are all here to help our patients have the best dental experience ever, creating a beautiful smile after a beautiful smile. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband Brian, 3 amazing daughters, 3 wonderful grandchildren, planting flowers, fishing and relaxing on the lake.
I am Dr. Grias Dental Assistant. I have been in dentistry for over 20 years and have been a part of this team since 2007. I love my job. I like helping our patients achieve a healthier and brighter smile and working with all of the team members. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids and family.
My name is Sara, I am Dr. Effies main assistant. I joined Team Grias in 2019. I have been in the dental field for 5 years. I first started as an orthodontic assistant, and now I assist Dr. Effie, and Dr. Tom too. Its a great pleasure making our patients smile and doing everything I can to make your day a little brighter during your visit! When Im not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my better half, Bo, and our cat Zola. I also love being outside relaxing at the lake and attending car shows in the summer.
He received the Comprehensive Care Treatment Award from the University of Michigan as well, for recognition of excellence in total patient care. He is a graduate of the Schuster Institute, a prestigious educational institute which focuses on extraordinary standards of patient care. Dr. Grias has also studied at the Dawson Institute, where he completed an intensive program of advanced dental technologies and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Grias is active in professional organizations and is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and West Michigan Dental Society. In their free time, he and his wife, Dr. Effie Grias, enjoy spending time with their son~ Nino, reading, watching movies, kayaking, enjoying Lake Michigan, and travelling.
Dr. Effie Grias joined West Michigan Dental Professionals after ten years of private practice in Athens, Greece. Dr. Effie was accepted into a very competitive residency program at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree, with honors.
Dr. Effie is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and West Michigan Dental Society. Dr. Effie has a strong interest in listening and caring for each patient with respect and concern.
