I was born and raised in a small town in eastern Iowa. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Physiology. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2011. After graduation, I practiced in a single-doctor general dentistry office in rural Illinois for 8 years before relocating with my family to Nashville in 2019. The experience at my last office was fantastic because I was able to provide a wide variety of dental services to patients of all ages.
I strongly believe in attending continuing education classes regularly so that I can provide my patients with innovative and lasting dental treatment. I completed extensive implant training at UCLA and I am Invisalign certified. I consider myself to be a very honest and ethical person. I believe it is important for me to educate my patients on their oral health so they can make informed decisions about their dental treatment.
My name is Kari and I have been working in dentistry for over 20 years. I graduated from Lake Washington Technical College with a degree in dental hygiene in 2000. I moved to Nashville with my family in 2015 and started to work at West Meade Dental. I have worked with Dr. Kisner at West Meade Dental for several years. I love all my patients here and enjoy hearing everyones story. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. I enjoy travel, reading, going to concerts, watching sports, and hanging out in the sun on a beach or by the pool. Dentistry is not a job to me, it is my passion. I love all the current technology we have to offer our patients here at West Meade Dental!
Hello, my name is Victoria. I have been a registered dental assistant for over 18 years and I have worked at West Meade Dental for over 4 years. You will find me helping you at the front desk mostly, but you may also catch me assisting Dr. Kisner chairside. I strive to provide excellent customer service and I specialize in helping our patients better understand their insurance benefits and obtain financing. I work hard to help make your dental treatment as affordable as possible for you. In my spare time, I love hanging out with my kids, taking kickboxing classes, and painting.
Hi, my name is MacLaine. I graduated from Dental Staff School of Tennessee in March 2021 and earned a degree in dental assisting. I am certified in radiology, nitrous oxide monitoring and coronal polishing. My goal is to make patients as comfortable as possible throughout their treatment. When Im not in the office, I like to spend my time shopping or treating myself to a relaxing self-care day.

I had a great experience at my dental appointment, I am usually nervous at my dental appointments but the staff made me feel at ease throughout the entire appointment. The staff was very friendly and the office was beautiful. I would highly recommend West Meade Dental!

I like to think I have a sixth sense about Dentists because growing up we were blessed with great dental coverage and never missed an appointment. West Meade was my very first choice when I moved to Nashville 8 years ago and I've stuck with them since! Great place!

Amazing experience. As a person with dental anxiety, which has kept me out of that dreaded chair for years, both Dr. Kisner and the entire staff made me feel welcome, at ease, and heard. They all listened without judgement and set very clear and realistic expectations of care and budget. Honestly can say I'm excited to return for the next rounds of treatment and future cleanings. Huge thank yous to Dr. Kisner, Victoria, MacLaine, and Kari for their excellent care!

10/10! Haven't been to a dentist in several years, and they made the process quick and comfortable! Everyone was really clear with what they were doing, why, and what was going on with my teeth. I highly recommend this dentist.

It's an honor to share this with you. Each time I am scheduled for an appointment, I receive a courtesy reminder several days in advance. Also alert message the morning of my appointment! I absolutely love it , the moment you walk into the office you are greeted with a smile. Everyone is so pleasant and happy to see you! My hygienist (Kari) is fantastic, my teeth feels awesome when she's done and she is extremely considerate if you are comfortable while she is cleaning your teeth,. Dr.Kisner is an amazing dentist!! She's always gives a thorough examination after the cleaning process is done. If there are any concerns or questions she available to provide before you leave the office. If you are looking for a dentist consider West Meade Dental .

Wanted a dentist closer to home. My son and I went to our first appointments this week and could not have been happier. Everyone in the office is kind, professional and very accommodating! A good dentist is hard to find. Thankful Dr. Kisner is in the neighborhood!
