Dr. Ralph Hennessee D.D.S (Family Dentist/Owner) Dr. Hennessee graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1969 and joined the United States Army. While in the Army he attended the basic and advance courses at Health Service Command in San Antonio, TX and the Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. He went on to receive his pedodontic training at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and Children's Mercy Hospital. He completed his training in 1975.
While serving in the Army he completed two overseas tours. The first was to Korea in 1969 and then deployed for 18 months to Vietnam in 1971. During his tour in Vietnam he served in the 5th Mech. Inf., the 1st Cav., and the 101st Airborne.
In 1979 while stationed at Fort Polk & after Serving 10 years in the Army Dr. Hennessee returned to civilian life and opened a private practice in Leesville, LA. Over the past 30 years Dr Hennessee has proudly supported the dental needs of his community and looks forward to the future. Back to Top
Dr. Matt Ganey After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech in 1999, Dr. Matt Ganey endeavored to attend the Louisiana State University's School of Dentistry. In 2010 after graduating with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Dr. Ganey began working throughout central Louisiana.
Mary Rowland Mary is a native of Caldwell Paish. She graduated from Caldwell Parish High School in 1982. She has one son, Jordan. She graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1992 with a BS in Dental Hygiene. She has been employed at West La. Dental Center since August of 1998. She received her license to administer anesthesia in January of 2000. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family. Back to Top
Janice Smithkors Janice is a Dental Hygienist at West La Dental Center. She attended Northwestern University from 1998-2000 and then moved to Beaumont,Texas. In Texas she attended Lamar University and completed her degree in Dental Hygiene. She began working at West Louisiana Dental Center in July 2002. Janice returned to school and attended Universiy of Louisiana at Monroe to get her anesthesia license in 2003 and has been employed at West Louisiana Dental Center every since. In her spare time she likes to travel, bake, and spend time with family and friends. Back to Top
Tracy 'TC' Williams TC grew up in Hornbeck and graduated high school in 1986. She attended NLU in Monroe, and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She returned to college in 1998 to obtain her anesthesia license. TC has three children, Sydney a daughter and Tryon and Austin two sons. She is married to Joey Williams. In her free time enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and going to the beach. Back to Top

Having suffered for quite some time with lower denture pain, and tried others, to no avail, I was very impressed with the professional way my visit was handled. I received a vast amount of knowledge about dentures, I also was relieved from lots of my pain. I have confidence that my next visits will have profound impact on my health and well-being. I am an out of town visitor. They got me in very quickly. Staff was courteous and efficient. The dental technician that saw me was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

Great experience, very professional, Curtis and experienced. I have been going to West Louisiana dental for over 25 years for all of my dental needs, from cleaning to root canals to Caps and even implants. These folks become like family and treat you right. My wife and I think the world of some of them. Dr Matt is the best dentist in the area, bar none. If you have dental needs these are the folks ti go too...

I love Dr. Matt. Been going for 6 months. Had a deep cleaning the first time and then had my teeth fixed. I went Tuesday for a regular cleaning and when I left I felt like a child that has been scolded. After she was finished I was so exhausted. I do have the gum disease and I do drink my Dr. Pepper. I am 63 years old and it's hard to break old habits even tho I know they are not good for you. I was told it would make her job a lot easier if I brushed correctly and quit drinking DP. But I will still return and get fussed at again.

Everyone is super nice. Appointments are on time and staff is very professional. Denist is great and gentle too. I prefer this clinic over all others in the region. I even prefer them over clinic used in Baton Rouge and appreciate their professional services.
