Dr. Jared Sass was born and raised in Iowa City, IA making him a life-long Hawkeye fan. Dr. Sass graduated from City High School and later attended Simpson College in Indianola, IA. At Simpson, Dr. Sass was a member of the baseball team for 4 years, earning All-Conference and All-Region honors his Junior year. After graduating from Simpson Dr. Sass returned to the Iowa City area, working for Integrated DNA Technologies a laboratory specializing in the production of synthetic DNA for research purposes. Dr. Sass later attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry graduating in 2015. After graduation Dr. Sass joined West Lakes Family Dentistry. Dr. Sass became the owner of West Lakes Family Dentistry in 2018.

Dr. Sass and his staff are proud of the warm patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. Dr. Sass welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting you and offering you the professional, caring and pain free oral health care that you deserve.

Dr. Sass married his wife, Corrie, in 2015; together they have a son named Cameron, 2 dogs (Simpson and Sophie) and 1 rabbit (Penny). When not in the office, Dr. Sass enjoys golfing, playing softball and volleyball, as well as outdoor activities with family. He is also an avid sports fan, especially of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Dr. Aubrey Frette earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 2014. She then completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska in 2018. She is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association. A native of Stillwater, Minnesota, Dr. Frette and her husband Taylor are excited to call Des Moines their new home. Outside of the office, Dr. Frette enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and spoiling their most recent addition to the family a goldendoodle puppy named Hilton.

Sheri has been a member of the West Lakes team since 2004 and active in the dental field for over 35 years. Sheri is married to Joe and has 1 daughter (Anna) and 2 step-daughters (Veronica & Valerie). The family is complete with their dog (Britta) and guinea pig (Newman). Outside of dentistry Sheri is active in church and enjoys music, singing and spending time with her family.

Rylee joined the West Lakes team in 2021. Rylee grew up in Altoona, IA and is a graduate of Southeast Polk. She has two dogs named Milo and Moose. Rylee is a big time Iowa football fan. Rylee enjoys spending time at her all time favorite place-the Lake of the Ozarks.

Cindy has been with West Lakes since the first days in 1994. Cindy is a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area, graduating from East High. Cindy attended the University of Iowa followed by DMACC where she earned her Dental Hygiene degree. Cindy loves to spend time traveling and boating with her husband Bill. Cindy's household is filled with a family of furry dog children.

Anjanete joined the West Lakes team in 2002. Anjanete obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from DMACC. Anjanete is married to Chris, who owns a construction business where Anjanete helps with office work outside of her time with West Lakes. Anjanete and Chris have 4 children (1 daughter, 3 sons), 1 llama, 2 4-H calves and a bunch of chickens. Although the children and barnyard friends take up a majority of her time, Anjanete enjoys church activities, 4-wheeling and taking vacations with and without her children.

Amy has been with West Lakes since 2016 and has worked in the dental field since 1986. Amy has lived in Adel from over 20 years with her husband Dale. Together they have 4 children. Amy spends her time away from work with her family playing cards, listening to music, going to her childrens' sporting events and playing volleyball.

Tracy has been in the dental field in some capacity since 1995, joining West Lakes in 2015. Tracy is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State. Tracy is married to John and has a step daughter Cheyenne, together they live on a small farm where most of their time is dedicated to taking care of their small goat herd, dogs, cats and hamster.

Morgan joined West Lakes in 2020, having been in the dental field since 2017. A native of Marshalltown, IA growing up in a family of 5 kiddos making up one half of the twin population. Morgan has two fur babies Gizzy the cat and Pixie the Corgi. Away the office Morgan enjoys going on walks and a nice patio to sit and relax with friends.

Sarah joined the West Lakes team in 2021. A native of Boone, IA Sarah received her assisting training at DMACC earning her degree in 2021. Sarah and her fiancee Nick are avid ISU fans. Outside of dentistry Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and fur baby Cooper the Cocker Spaniel.

Laura has worked in the dental field for 15 years, joining West Lakes in 2018. Laura obtained her dental hygiene degree from DMACC. Laura grew up in Norwalk, IA and has lived in Waukee for 10 years. Laura is married to John and has 2 children Blake and Jordan. Away from the office Laura and her family enjoy spending time together watching Iowa football and wrestling.
