Dr. Suzanne Hendrix grew up in a small town in south eastern Minnesota. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2001 with a degree in biology. After graduation she moved to New York City to attend NYU College of Dentistry where she graduated in 2005. It was there that she found her passion for serving patients of all ages and dental needs.
Upon her return to Minnesota, she and her husband moved to Mound, MN, where they have lived for more than 13 years. She has spent her career working in a group dental practice in Monticello and has focused on making all patients comfortable in her dental chair. She believes in making dental visits an enjoyable experience where every patient leaves with a healthy and confident smile.
She and her husband, Dan, have two school age daughters that keep them busy with their many activities. Dr Hendrix can often be found volunteering at Hilltop or cheering loudly at one of the area hockey rinks, the dance studio, volleyball courts, or archery meets. When they have some free time, she and her family enjoy spending time with friends on and around the lake. She is very excited to join the team at West Lakes Dentistry and get to know more members of the community.

I love this office! EVERYONE is friendly and approachable. I'm not someone who enjoys the dentist, at all. Each and every technician as well as Dr. Miner, all take the time to reassure me and make me feel comfortable. They also won't recommend unnecessary procedures. They recommend only the things you need, so I trust them with my health!

It has been about ten years since I last saw a dentist. It's embarrassing and I was extremely anxious about what they would find during my exam. I was also slightly worried that there would be some "dental shaming" or a lecture about hygiene habits. Not at all. I needed a tooth pulled which I was already aware of. The office upon entering is extremely nice. Decked out waiting room, just everything was nice and had a calming effect. It also instilled a feeling of confidence in their practice. My exam was done by Nicole and she definitely gets five stars. She knew I had some anxiety about the exam and could read how I was feeling and did an extremely good job at keeping me cool and very informed, her outgoing upbeat personality relaxed me a lot. Dr. Hubbard pulled my tooth and did an extremely good job at it. She made 110% sure that I was numb and would feel no discomfort during the extraction. She kept me well informed throughout the process about anything I might feel or experience so that I wasn't caught off guard. Her assistant, whom unfortunately I cannot recall her name, was also very nice and helpful. The only negative part of this experience I had, and I only say this so that no one else has this happen, was I did not realize that the "patient portion" of the billing was due as soon as you are done, before you leave. It's my own fault, or lack of visits to a dentist that this happened. I did not have any way of paying, obviously they let me leave and told me I had to be pay it before they would schedule my future visits. I totally understand this policy and how it is probably frustrating trying to collect from patients and not getting what they are rightfully owed and did notice after the fact they have a sign stating this policy exactly. However I left feeling a bit sad or guilty. They were so nice to me did such a great job and it made me feel a bit like I was cheating them even though I intend on paying it tomorrow when I receive my paycheck. That being said west lakes dentistry is a great place 10/10, five stars, two thumbs up! Oh yeah there are TV's on the ceiling when your on the chair. Awesome.

The people here we kind and very helpful when it came to an emergency tooth pain. They listened to me, fit me in for an appointment, and had me scheduled for a tooth extraction within a week. They gave me all the meds necessary to keep me out of pain, and to keep it from getting worse. I'm very grateful for their services! They were wonderful! And again, thank you!

(Translated by Google) My and my best friend stopped at around 12:30 pm today (11/7) and the lady who worked was incredibly sweet! She was alone on a Saturday and still managed to have the best attitude! My best friend pulled out the wisdom tooth the other day, and gave us tips and warned us to be careful with the drink because of that! Not to mention it was super fast and tasted delicious! Worst worst customer service. For all you who are working professionals like myself in meetings all day and on calls during the week day. Just an FYI west lake dentistry will cancel your appointment. If you Don't reply confirm by txt for your appointment or answer their call during the work day while you're in meetings to confirm your appointment. Even though you just made appointment a week or two ago . they will automatically take you off and fill your appointment with someone else. And when you show up to your appointment they'll just say well this is our busiest day. so we had to fill it with someone else.

All in all I am quite pleased. I had a moderately difficult procedure that I went through without any pain. To me most surprisingly was the absence of pain the following day, suggesting to this naive observer that every thing was "buttoned up" and taken care of nicely. I am hopeful that the end-game will all work out well.

Dr Hastings & Lisa we're absolutely the best! They took the time to ask questions- and they listened to me-making sure I was comfortable and understood the process every step of the way. I highly recommend West Lakes Dentistry - they know how to treat people - from walking in the front door- Kirstie & Brittni - very friendly & welcoming- to Lisa & Dr Hastings- I arrived early they saw me earlier than my appointment- I left feeling - Wow! What a great place- start to finish!

Extremely personable. Everything is explained well before any work is done. Very professional. Very friendly. The best dentist EVER for me! And every time I go in is the same or better. (I have to confess, not my favorite place, the dentist office right?!) but I do enjoy seeing all the friendly and caring faces.

I had to put crowns in on my bottom molars and was anxious before. They made me feel very comfortable and the procedure went very smoothly.
