Dr. Amber Brooks was born into a military family, so much of her childhood was spent moving from state to state until they eventually settled in Chesapeake, VA. She attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate education, graduating summa cum laude. Upon graduation in 2012, she went on to pursue a degree in dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth Universitys School of Dentistry (MCV), where she graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Throughout her time, she participated in MOM projects and served in clinics throughout rural Virginia to deliver dental care to those in need. Dr. Brooks is a member of Psi Omega, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. She has a passion for her patients and feels great satisfaction from meeting their dental needs. Dr. Brooks is always looking to further her knowledge in the field of dentistry to ensure her patients receive the best care possible. In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks and bike rides with her fianc and their 2 dogs (Bobo and Dixie), watching football, trying new restaurants, and spending time with loved ones.
Dr. Nicole Naylor was born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She completed undergraduate studies at West Virginia University in 2006. She immediately went on to pursue a degree in dentistry atWest Virginia Universitys School of Dentistrywhere she graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She graduated with honors ranking in the top of her class. Dr. Naylor has conducted research in the field of endodontics winning the William Reed Butler Scholar award in 2009. She received recognition in 2011 as one of Americas Top Dentists by consumer research council of America. Dr. Naylor has dedicated numerous hours to community service including participation in the MOM project and a ten day mission trip to Guatemala in 2009. She is a member of the ADA ( American dental society), NCDS ( North Carolina dental society), AGD ( Academy of general dentistry), AACD ( American academy of cosmetic dentistry) Dr. Naylor enjoys spending her free time with her friends and family, running and being involved in community events. She enjoys learning something new about dentistry each day and is always looking for new opportunities to expand her knowledge
April has been in the dental field since 1997. She has been with Dr Naylor since opening the office full time in 2012. She enjoys helping patients with their questions and concerns and making them feel at ease about going to the dentist. Sheenjoys a challenge and always tries to accommodate the needs of others. April loves being married to her best friend. She is very proud of her 3 children, has 2dogs but is always fostering puppiesso she understands a hectic schedule. She enjoys working on cars, traveling, playing volleyball, assisting her children with sports, helping others and rescuing dogs.
Dawn is new to North Carolina having just moved here with her husband and 2 daughters and one dog. She is originally from Pennsylvania. Dawn started out her dental career assisting for 6 years she then went on to hygiene school at the PA college of Tech. Dawn has been a registered dental hygienist since 2002. She takes great satisfaction in taking the extra minute to provide top notch hygiene tips to her patients. Dawn is compassionate about dentistry and truly cares about the well-being of all of those she comes in contact with. Dawn likes to spend her free time with her family, watching her girls play soccer and gymnastics.
Erin has been a dental assistant since 2011. She is new to the area and originally from New Jersey. Erin is dedicated to her job and loves dental assisting because she likes helping people and making them feel comfortable. She was recently married in May 2014 to her husband Bryan. In her free time she likes to be with her family and friends and help them with all of their kids!
Myra received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Virginia. Myra is married and has a daughter. Myra loves her job because she likes to make people happy and to see people smile. What better place to help someone have a healthy, beautiful smile than a dental office. When Myras not making people smile and laugh, she LOVES Crossfit and enjoys all and many, many activities with her daughter.
My name is Cortney. I am so thankful to be part of the West Lake team. I have been in the dental field since 2013. I love getting to know each patient individually. We strive to make your dental visit as stress-free as possible! Each patient deserves a beautiful smile and it's our main goal to achieve that. I have a son, Kaiden, who loves to ride motocross, play baseball, and enjoys any activity outside. I enjoy hunting, skiing, dancing, spending time on the lake and spending time with my family and friends.

Since I started with West Lake Dentistry. I never look for no other Dentist. I trust them. They take care of my whole family. They are professionals & does an excellent job. Very clean in the whole office . Every one are so kind & helpful, especially with me. I'm always nervous .they take care me & put me at ease everytime. Thank you

The staff are pleasant, professional, and efficient. The atmosphere is soothing and calming. My procedure was explained well and in detail so that I felt relaxed and confident in a positive outcome. I'm looking forward to my next visit which is shocking because, in the past, I've never liked going to the dentist!

Absolutely love this place. I took my fiance, Roman, here for a tooth problem, and they went above and beyond for him. They even got him a same day referral to a dental surgeon. We felt very welcomed from the time we stepped through the doors until the time we left. Dr Brooks, Bre, and the other dental assistants and hygienist are very knowledgeable and has made us hopeful again. I will definitely be switching to West Lake very soon because of how much I've seen them do for Roman. Thank you guys so much, it's so impossible to find a great place like yours.

From the time you walk in to the office you are comfortable and greeted with a smile as you are taken care of. I love the energy of the Girls and Dr Naylor. I recently saw Amber and she was very precise and professional with her work. Dr Naylor always has a gentle touch and this means a lot when you are having an issue or nervous. I highly recommend Dr Naylor and the rest of the women at this office!

I had a very bad family emergency and had to cancel the appointment with late notice. They are not understanding at all. They would rather charge you then understand the circumstances. They want you to make another appointment to forgive the charge they are forcing on you; But, who would want to go here after receiving a charge without them even calling or seeing if they could reschedule or if everything was ok. No, they would rather charge the customer then try to figure out how to fit them back into the schedule. Very poor service and not personal at all. Would not recommend this place if you are looking for a caring, family friendly environment.

Book your appointment and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Dr Naylor Is the best in the state. So polite, attentive, and always listens to all my concerns. The rest of the staff are equally as great and I know upon arrival I'll always get the best care possible. Best decision I've made for all my dental needs.
