Dr. Andy Maples earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Creighton University School of Dentistry. He received several awards while at Creighton including: The Inaugural Dr. Simpson Award for Excellence in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, The Department of General Dentistry Award and The American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Award.
Dr. Maples is a dedicated lifelong learner including studying at the Kois Center. He has completed numerous hours of continuing education and advanced dental study. In 2019 he completed his mentorship exam and now helps guideother dentists in their education. Dr. Maples has been especially interested in continuing his study of implantology and other aesthetic restorative dentistry methods.
Dr. Maples grew up in Colorado, and he earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University. An avid outdoorsman and fitness enthusiast, Dr. Maples enjoys hiking fourteeners and competing in triathlons. Besides being outdoors, spending time with his wife Lauren and kidsCollin and Mia is what he enjoys doing the most.

My first visit to West Lake Dental. The experience was great! The staff was very professional and spent a lot of time with me to ensure that all of my questions were answered and that I received the best care. October 2022 ... Now here it is over two years since I had been to the office because of the Covid situation these past years. Yesterday I finally was able to have my recall appointment with Michele, one of the hygienists and I had a wonderful appointment with her.

Dr. Andy Maples and everyone at West Lake Dental are truly amazing. I tell all of my friends and co-workers that I truly enjoy going to the dentist, because my dentist office is that good. I recently had a filling and haven't had one for 8 years so I was nervous about what to expect. It was such a great experience from start to finish. I didn't even feel the numbing injections. Dr. Andy called me at 8pm to check on me and make sure I was doing ok after the procedure. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and truly make you feel like they care.

It seems every time I go here I get a nugget of wisdom. This time because I'm wearing aligners, it feels like I have a cavity, but after Dr Andy checked, it was just the movement creating pain. The hygienist recommended a sensitive toothpaste with aloe and gave me a sample to try. It really helps and soothes the gums.

A dental clinic I 100% recommend. I am a new patient with them and got an exam done my first visit. They were great about my oral health and explaining in great detail what they saw and setting up a plan for solutions on teeth grinding and minor cavities. They will hear you out on your goals and also talk to you about how to achieve that perfect smile! They showed me an estimate before leaving the door and walked me through what that process of taking care of some filling would be like and time. Absolutely love the team and for the first time ever i look forward to my next visit and cleaning! I hope the team has a great day! I'm a new patient. They saw me the day after I called about tooth pain. Found the problem and got me a referral later that morning to a specialist and had the root canal procedure. It was all done by noon and the problem was solved. Been good ever since. Explained everything and discussed all my options with me.
