Mike Archibald is the Master Ceramist at the Dental Studio and works closely with our doctors to achieve the best aesthetics and function in crowns, bridges, veneers, implant restorations, full mouth rehabilitations and smile makeovers.
A true artist specializing in cosmetics for the past 29 years, his talent is unparalleled and he meets with patients himself to assess the individuality that needs to be incorporated into ceramic restorations.
Mike has much gratitude to his father, John Archibald, an internationally known dental technician, who has taught him a lot of what he knows and who has taken him to dental meetings when Mike was a young child but could already recognize value and structural details in teeth.
Currently, aside from being a cosmetic partner at the Dental Studio, Mike is a member and contributor for a top level international cosmetic ceramists group, Atelier Dentaire International. You will find his work on instagram @archibald.mike as well as @atelierdentaire.international.
Your comfort and well being are priorities. The Studio has a modern and fresh design with an artistic flare. In the lounge you will find mindful reading material, coffee, tea, water, and relaxing music. We have a great appreciation of art, and you will see both photography and acrylic-on-canvas artwork as you make your way through the Studio. All art was created by Dr. Ventresca. In the photography room we capture every smile, while the live intra-oral cameras in treatment rooms will give you a clear picture of your teeth close up so that you can better understand their condition. In the private consult area we discuss your goals, treatment plan, financial plan and answer all of your questions. Enjoy your visits with us !

Hands down the best dentist in the west/lafayette area! I first did a complete exam to see, what state my teeth are in. (Since I havent been to a dentist in over five years.) I was explained that I have a few cavities, and that we could get the treatment taken care of within the week. I scheduled my appointment for fillings and everything went amazing! Staff was very friendly, and Dr.V truely cared about the well-being of my mouth. Good price! -Many benefits to the West Lafayette Dental Studio!

Dr. Ventresca is both an excellent dentist and an artist, as shown by both her practically invisible dental work (visible on her camera during visits) and the art on her walls. I don't love going to the dentist, but I've never had a bad experience in several years seeing her both at her previous office and now in her own practice. It isnt always cheap, but the quality of service she and her team provides is very, VERY high.

I simply love West Lafayette Dental Studio! I actually get excited to refer them when someone is looking for a dentist. If you are looking for a dental office with a dentist who truly cares, please look no further. They are truly the very best! I am so grateful for all the care that I have received there. Honestly the best dental experience I've ever had. Doc was very gentle and willing to spend her time doing my exam. They took great care of me, the office was extremely clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely nice. 10/10 would recommend!

Dr. Dagmara Ventresca is fantastic, very caring, and skilful. She carefully listens to your problems. She is very good at diagnosing the problem and taking care of that. Staffs are quite friendly. In case of urgency, you can get a quick appointment, which is kind of impossible with other dentists in this area. Remarkably quick and quality service!!

Had a terrible experience with the staff. Was treated poorly and felt very uncomfortable while I went there for my dental issues. Definitely do not recommend anyone going there unless you also expect to overpay for services.

The team at West Lafayette Dental Studio is absolutely amazing! They are very knowledgeable and do an excellent job at explaining what is seen via x-rays and pictures. They address not only your teeth, but everything that promotes your mouth to have a happy healthy environment. I originally went to the studio for TMJ issues, which we are currently addressing, but in the process I'm having other areas repaired too.

I have been a customer of Dr. Ventresca for more than 2 years since the clinic was open. I never write reviews. But this time, I feel obliged to write this review to thank to Dr. Ventresca for her state-of-the-art work. Coming from China, where dental practice is pretty scary (e.g., filling without anesthesia). I'm quite afraid of seeing a dentist. I didn't do regular checking or keep a good maintenance of my teeth. It finally leads to more than 20 teeth which need treatments. Among those, there is 1 tooth which the cavity is so deep that exposed the nerve. It made me have to visit a dentist. I've consulted multiple doctors around the area. They've all conveyed that they can try to fill, but not confident enough to do root canal if the cavity is too deep, which they have to temporarily seal the tooth, refer me to a specialist and keep me on pain killers for days to wait for availability of the specialist. Dr. Ventresca took the challenge and achieved by doing an extremely high skilled grinding and filling together with putting a pulp cap to calm the nerves. After 2 years, The tooth still remains alive, healthy and strong! How did I know all those details? Because Dr. Ventresca is so patient and spend so much time explaining and addressing my concerns. Not to mention the excellent work on all my other teeth, Dr. Ventresca has also did a fantastic cosmetic restoration on my front 2 teeth which were worn unevenly over time. I totally understand the concerns about the billing problems mentioned in other 1-star reviews. I have to commit that I had an unpleasant argument with Dr. Ventresca regarding this issue at the beginning too. However, I still go to her studio. Why? this is simply because there is no other offices where the doctor does cleaning, grinding, filling and polishing from the beginning to the end to achieve such a high standard of care. Doctors from other offices leave filling and cleaning to their assistants, which leaves the overall quality of the work to the shortest plank of a cask - their assistants. This is because other offices have to see enough patients in order to match the low prices agreed with insurance companies. I'm glad Dr. Ventresca has decided to be opted out from any insurance network and maintain her quality of care with each patient. Although some charges are not covered by insurance and may seem higher than other offices. If you are looking for the highest standard. This is the right place to go to. You get what you paid for. I strongly recommend this clinic to whoever want the best quality of care.

The Dental Studio in West Lafayette In. Is the PREMIERE dental experience you should have. Dr . Dagmara has exceptional skills ,education and vision for all of your dental needs . The office has state of the art equipment/sterilization and wonderful warm staff.

I needed to get some urgent dental work done, luckily for me West Lafayette Dental Studio had the earliest available appointment and I was pleasantly surprised with how exceptional of an experience I had. Dr. Dagmara Ventresca did a great job fixing my problem and the whole staff was nice and courteous. The prices seemed fair and in-line with the average dental procedure costs.

Dr. Ventresca and her team are the most talented and passionate dental team I have ever had the opportunity to have work done by. I have been to many dentists all over the United States, and have had much restoration work done by others. I have never received even close to the quality of treatment and and precision dental work anywhere else. From the thoroughness of initial evaluation to the investigation of the perfect treatment plan I was beyond confident and satisfied with the care I was receiving. I needed a complete restoration with several implants and a large front upper bridge, in addition to a bite correction to fix clenching, headaches, and worn down molars from grinding. I never had a dentist I felt was capable of really fixing all my problems. The team created the most natural looking teeth that can only be described as art. Truly remarkable and beautiful work. Every aspect of my dental problems were corrected, my bite is amazing, my teeth feel exactly like the originals, headaches are gone, and I now have the most amazing natural smile I could ever ask for. I cannot recommend West Lafayette Dental Studio enough, their work is far beyond anything I thought was even possible. They genuinely transformed my life!!!!

I had a dental emergency and needed to be seen ASAP. So thankful that Belinda got me in right away. Dr. Lim took great care of me. During my visit I had mentioned that I thought it was comical that while Dr was getting ready to do her thing, a certain song was playing. "Under Pressure - Queen" Wonderful friendly service. Dagmara is great! I really appreciated that she told me the best options for my teeth rather than the most expensive treatments. I was unlucky with my previous dentist and payed for a number of x-rays and treatments that were not necessary.

The office is beautiful. I expected Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn, to appear any moment. The doctor was very kind and thorough. She really is a very sweet lady! However, we left there with an estimate of work we were told, needed to be done....$28,000. Yes, for real. My car didn't cost that much. They said many people just get loans to cover the costs. Changed dentists, work was completed for under $2,000. Fast forward a YEAR. I get an email stating an audit was done on my account and there was a balance due. Called the office. I was told the front desk employee had entered charges wrong, and after an audit of THEIR mistake, I owed the balance....and they gave me only 2 weeks to pay it before it would be assigned to collections. Seriously.

Knowledgeable and informative staff; sophisticated equipment; modern atmosphere. Not pushy - they won't "retail you" when advising treatment, and the conversation is very down to earth. I was initially interested in whitening, and this was the only office I called that did not say an exam and cleaning was "mandatory" before they'd potentially do whitening treatment. I appreciated the autonomy, which made accepting the recommendations for restorative treatment before whitening seem more like an agreement/good idea than a requirement. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality experience.
