Michelle always knew that pursuing a career in the medical field was what she wanted to do and is glad to say that she found her passion in dental hygiene. She graduated from West Coast University with a bachelors of science in dental hygiene. Michelle has just recently moved to Los Angeles from Orange County in order to further her career in the dental field. In the future, she hopes to give back to the dental community as a teacher who will help train future dental professionals. Michelles goal with each patient is to help them achieve and maintain optimal oral health with thorough care that is catered to the needs of each individual who seek guidance from our dental office.
Health and Beauty Focus We provide a comprehensive dental exam to thoroughly examine the overall health of your teeth and gums, perform oral cancer screenings and take x-rays when necessary. We use laser (Diagodent) to help us detect cavities at early stages. We understand that your smile is not just about your teeth. Through esthetic dentistry at our West Hills practice, we will examine your lips, cheeks, and overall facial structure to design your dream smile. We also encourage you to participate in your smile design.

I usually don't leave reviews good or bad, but with everything happening in the world lately I wanted to post something positive and good!! First, this is the nicest dentist office I've ever been to. BUT the office decor would be nothing if it wasn't for the person that sits in front and welcomes you and makes you feel comfortable when you don't like going to the dentist. Rose is the first person you see. Before my visit, I called with many questions about insurance and the procedure. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. My procedure went great as well but probably would not have done it if I didn't get the comforting support beforehand.

Not a fan of going to the Dentist, but West Hills Smiles has completely changed my mind. Their professional and inviting atmosphere has made me look forward to going. I went in for some restorative work and the process took quite a while to complete. I felt well cared for and well informed about the process every step of the way. Seeing Rose in the office is like visiting with an old friend, and she just makes you feel welcomed, like your part of the family from the first visit. Doctor Mike is great, friendly, skilled touch and great at his work. This will be my dental home for as long as they are providing services, and I highly recommend them to anyone who will listen. Thank you to Rose, Dr. Mike and the West Smile team.

I was told I have cavities and have to pay $1200. I have insurance that covers 90% of cavity treatment. Got a second opinion and was told I have no cavities. Becareful.

I have the greatest fear of going to the dentist. I have had problems from a very young age of dentists trying to numb my mouth to no avail. It had been over five years since I stepped foot in a dental office. I found great reviews of Dr. Mike and his staff. I made an appointment and walked in the office to smiling faces. They made me feel really comfortable and have helped me conquer my fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Mike and his staff have been incredible and I am so happy to have found this office. I love this place! The professionalism is great! The staff is very warm and welcoming. I was looking for a cosmetic dentist and I came across this place. Dr. Mike is such a perfectionist and that is what you want when looking for a cosmetic dentist. He takes his time to address each and everyone of your concerns. He also has a very pleasant demeanor and makes you feel very welcomed! I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is in search of a cosmetic dentist!

Their staff is wonderful and respectful. Doctor Mike makes you feel comfortable through the whole process with continuously explaining the steps. They have all of the latest technology. Can't say enough Good things about an experience that can be unpleasant. Highly recommended

A pleasant experience from beginning to end. Staff was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I had a morning appointment and arrived on time. Fortunately I was not made to wait long for the doctor to see me. After filling out my initial paperwork I went in right away to see the doctor. From the moment I was seated in dentist chair I was asked if I'd like to watch TV or listen to music. They had Dr. Mike explained everything to me in great detail and in terms I could understand. The hygienist (Nicole ) was the most gentle, delicate, thorough and time managed hygienist i've experienced. She doesn't rush or poke you. Highly recommend! I had several procedures completed that morning (x-rays/consultation, cleaning, filling repair, and mouth guard adjustment) and it felt like I was in and out in no time. I wish I had started coming here sooner but am happy to be a patient here now. Thank you West Hills Smiles for making my visit to the dentist a nice one.

My experience with Dr. Sturgeon and his staff had me fully at ease. When you walk in , the atmosphere is calming and friendly. After being seated for my procedure and the work began I realized how fortunate I was to be in such competent hands. Dr. Sturgeon and Chris (the assistant) made sure that I was comfortable the whole time while they worked on my teeth. They were both so gentle!! Dr. Ben is my favorite new dentist. Everyone at West Hills Smiles was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I go a lot of work done with no pain and felt like I was at a spa more than anything else. Highly recommend.
