Dr. Johnson is a proud Utah native. He grew up in South Jordan and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. After graduation, he completed a 3 year orthodontic residency at The Ohio State University, where he received his Master of Science and certificate in orthodontics. Dr. Johnson is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics which means that he is a board certified orthodontist. Only 30% of orthodontists are board certified, which makes this a rare achievement and shows his dedication to excellence.
Dr. Johnson is married to his beautiful wife Natalie and they are the proud parents of 2 sons. When he is not at the office, Dr. Johnson loves spending time with his family and playing sports. He is also an avid Utah Jazz fan.
Orthodontics is my passion and I am fortunate to be able to share the excitement I have for creating beautiful smiles every day. I am grateful to be an orthodontist because it allows me to meet and develop strong relationships with the most amazing people in our community. I can still remember the boost of confidence that I felt when I saw my new smile for the first time after braces. Watching others experience those same life-changing effects of orthodontics is what drives me to be the best orthodontist that I can be!

I just want to start off saying that the staff is amazing!! They always have a smile on their face and have a warm presence. Dr. Johnson always makes things clear about your braces so there is no confusion. I totally recommend to go to west hills.

They are so nice and friendly. They are cost friendly and have a great payment plan. I have 5 kiddos and they will all be coming here to get there braces done.

Dr. Johnson and his staff are incredible! We have been seeing him for a year for my daughter's braces, and her teeth look amazing already! He shows genuine interest in his patients, and has great knowledge in straightening teeth. His prices are great and the office space is clean and organized.

I have been taking my grandchildren to Trenton Johnson DDS, MS at West Hills Orthodontics since we moved to Magna in 2018. Dr. Johnson and his staff are very friendly and very good with children. He explains everything he's doing so the kids understand why they need braces and how they will work. My grand daughter looks forward to come up appointments so she v can pick the new colors of elastics for her braces. I never thought taking kids to the orthodontist would be so easy. The staff makes it easy. Thank you!

We have been patients of Dr. Johnson since he first opened West Hills Orthodontics. Dr. Johnson and his staff are amazing, polite, and super friendly. He is currently treating my 13 and 12 year old girls. Both had some unique issues with their teeth, but he helped them both take it in stride. My 18 year old recently went in to see him for issues with her permanent retainers from a different office. He was more than happy to help and even ordered her a new nightly retainer that fits.

My experience with DR. Johnson is awesome he has always been there for me and has on a few occasions even called to check up on me. His prices were way more affordable then any my family have found out here and he has always kept his work area and office clean. He has even talked to me like i'm a normal person when I come in there is no tension what so ever and he always tries to help those that are having a hard time. The staff are also amazing giving them a 5 star rating as well they always seem to care even if they have had a bad day and always help one another when they need it.

Dr. Johnson has been phenomenal with my son and his braces! I recommend him to anyone needing braces. I even pay as a Self Pay patient and they are really awesome to work with for my billing. Thanks Dr. Johnson for all your help and awesome work for my son!

Dr. Johnson treated my 3 kids and he was amazing! He not only has an easy going personality he genuinely cares and relates to his patients. My youngest had an underbite and was very nervous about ortho treatment from the beginning. Dr. always reassured him and made him comfortable which helped Adam always look forward to his appointments. My kids still ask about him and Adrian says he misses having NBA conversations with him...Dr. J is the BEST!

Every interaction I and my children have had with Dr. Johnson has been excellent. He is a great orthodontist, very good with children, really puts them at ease and he really seems to be a perfectionist regarding orthodontics. He will take great care of your children's teeth.

Dr. Trenton Johnson gets to know his patients on a personal level. He tries making them as comfortable as possible. The orthodontist clinic is always neat and organized. The wait is only a couple of minutes. The employees are all super nice and helpful. I recommend to go to West Hills Orthodontics.
