In 1993, I began studies in dental laboratory skills. I entered a prestigious dental lab school and, after graduation, began working in-house for prominent dentists who exposed me to world-class dentistry. Dr. Gordon Christiansen (see CRA) is the one who motivated me to return to school to complete my education. After graduating from OHSU with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine, I began work at my current location where Dr. Clarke served as my mentor. Dr. Clarke introduced me to a high level of comprehensive dental care that spanned back to 1943. I then completed one year of Continuing Education in Orthodontics and one year in Implantology (maxi course - American Association Implant Dentistry). I completed a mini-residency in IV Sedation with an advanced cardiac life support certificate and have acquired over 1,000 hours of extra education. I then passed the test and received my Fellowship in the AGD (see AGD he is soon to receive a Mastership). With years of continuing education, a fantastic mentorship, and by surrounding myself with the highest quality staff, I am able to provide you with the quality of care all of our patients deserve.

My job in our dental office is to present all options available in dentistry from simple dental exams toimplants and snore appliances. If we cant provide it, I will refer you to someone who does. Its not about business, its about service and, at Fear Free Dental, we strive to earn your respect.

Trust is earned over time. Flashy walls and expensive equipment dont equate trust. My mentor, Dr. Clarke, believed that earning a patient's trust is priceless. It takes years of building relationships with patients to begin understanding how priceless being a dentist is. Dr. Clarke passed away in 2004 and, after 20 years, I now understand... I just wish he was still here so I could tell him how right he was.

Kailie's job consists of greeting patients as they walk through the door, and she loves seeing all the smiling faces. She strives to make every patient's experience as smooth as possible and ensures to find the answer to any questions they may have. Kailie believes that one of the reasons she got into the dental field was her love and passion for helping others. You'll most likely find Kailie working out or traveling when she is not at the office.

Suzanne worked as a CNA at assisted living in her 20s, raised kids, and started a daycare creating good relationships with all involved. Now that the kids are grown, she started a new career with Fear Free Dental. She has gone on to study and receive her expanded functions in dental assisting along with her X-ray certificates. Suzanne has mastered using a laboratory microscope, so you can be assured the quality is second to none. She has great compassion and understands people's needs.

Ashleye has been a dental hygienist for six years and loves what she does. She went to Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, where she got her Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. Ashleye loves smiles, and that's why she chose dentistry. She enjoys helping her patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile that they love. She has been with Dr. Little's office since 2021 August. She likes to read and be outside hiking, camping, or paddleboarding when she is not at work.

I have been seeing Dr. Little since 2002. He and his staff are always ultra-professional and thorough, and my dental needs have been well taken care of through the years. I trust that Dr. Little will only perform necessary services, and I appreciate that he advocates for what is best for patients with outside dental organizations.

I see a different dentist for the "regular" dental work, but he does not do implants. I am so happy a friend referred me to Dr. Little. I have some allergies and sensitivities to some dental materials. Dr. Little uses safe and non toxic materials. This second implant process with him has gone very smoothly. He takes great care to make sure the procesdure is a success.

Dr. Little is very experienced and expert in dentistry. You know it in the way he handles your exam and treatment. I just had another crown done and each is painless and quick. He's done a number of preventative treatments over the 21 years I've been seeing him. Pleased to recommend him and his staff who are also top drawer.

West Hills dentist is talented in dentistry. Not so in dealing with an anxious, young patient. And surprisingly, during a first routine cleaning, the hygienist was also short in patience with my anxious and stressed teen. As a parent, the West Hills dentist told me all efforts would be made to have a safe and calm experience for a sedated procedure. Within 15 minutes, the dentist ran short with his temper. The procedure was aborted. I am posting this for parents looking for someone who has a child with dental anxiety and possibly gag issues. Mine has both, and maybe the dental anxiety stems from the gag problem. Following our negative experience, I found a sedation dentist in the Vancouver area who was patient and explained each & every step with a calm attitude. This dentist addressed concerns and answered each question the patient asked. The open communication and positive attitude of the Vancouver sedation dentist helped ease the situation. Perhaps the West Hills Dentist could attend classes which center on the psychology of how to approach such difficult patients ? It can be frustrating for a medical doctor to have a patient question procedure. Adults do not enjoy being questioned and judged, and doctors are no exception...this is, however, a part of raising our children, and how we approach this step of their maturation can help shape their way into successful adulthood.

I was scared and ashamed after 17 years of not seeking dental care, but with issues occurring left and right I knew I needed help. Reaching out to Dr Little and his amazing staff was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. They're compassionate and encouraging and it's evident they are there to help you succeed. From start to finish every appointment has been great, which I never thought I'd say about a dentist office. I require heavy sedation which I've never experienced before and everyone really goes out of their way for your comfort and safety. If you're scared and you need some good people in your corner, please reach out to West Hills Dental and get started or continue on a journey towards a better you! You'll thank yourself and the folks providing top-notch care.

I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist to the point that I hadn't been for 8 years or so. Not only did the dentist call me the day before to talk about my fear and reassure me, but he was there to greet me in the lobby when I arrived. He really listened to me and addressed my fears and gave me something to relax. Everyone was professional and really listened to me, which is exactly what I needed to get through the appointment. Highly recommend.
